Well about kill la kill i should say i don't know about it that much since i only watched 3 episode, but all the anime veterans says that the kill la kill is savior of anime these days, it has pretty good type of comedy that i like so much and unique style of art... and it's an original anime without any source material, and if you check Popularity rankings in MAL you can see kill la kill is #28... so sooner or later you should watch it, even if you you like or not kill la kill is one of those animes that you will watch eventually, so i recommend you check it out.
And about No Game No Life, i should say it's hardly depends on you, first of all NGNL have targeted audience(you gonna enjoy it more if you're a gamer) i saw so many people who adore it and so many who hate it, NGNL is like kill la kill too, i mean you will wattch it eventually cuz it's pretty popular... NGNGL is pretty much hit or miss, i mean you see they talk about life and deep thoughts and in the next scene you see some stupid ecchi fan service... or sometimes it's pretty unique and clever and sometimes it's pretty stupid and cliche, my opinion about it is "it's higher then average bot nowhere close to top animes, i find watching it enjoyable."
I recommend you watching both of them but i don't think you will love neither of them.
Ok first of all accept my deepest apology for late reply, i was kinda busy in past few days and the other thing is this is my 3rd time i'm writing this(idk what was the problem but MAL didn't upload the answer i wrote last two times)...
I guess you're right about writing reviews, the main problem here is my lack of confident, so thank you for motivating me, i'll gather my courage and do it.
Yes i have the same problem as you when i want to check other genres, i think it's not fear or something like that, for me personally it's matter of comfort zone,
But hey there are some good slice of life animes out there but in the end it's all depends on your personality so there is no guarantee, i'm watching shounens from time to time too, but most of them are not so deep or special but watching them is fun and simply enjoyable, so yeah...
And talking about twisted personality and stuff i think it's kinda hit or miss in anime industry, some of them look so interesting and original while some of them look so boring and cliche at the same time... and i'm hate to watch an anime(or read a manga) that's try way too hard to look deep or dark, so that's why i don't watch this type of things...
And about mystery genre, my opinion is same as the top paragraph, so i don't watch them.
Actually i don't remember clearly how i found it out, but i guess i saw your comment on someone's profile which was about exams and Telegram, and since only an Iranian and Russian can be the case about telegram, i thought you would be Iranian because of knowing the final exam time(cuz it's different in other countries...) so yeah here i am...^__^
but you know Persians have a thing to find each other in weird places...
Yeah i mean we both completed around 50 series and it's so rare to don't have anything in common... i mean at least we should completed like 15 series in common and we have like 3 or something...
I think the main reason is, i watched a lot of slice of life, school and modern stuff while you like classic and action anime more. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
And about talking English i'm gonna say it's better since the whole community is worldwide (and for practice too ofc)
And i don't think you have weird taste about anime at all (meanwhile watching anime from Iran IS kinda weird taste i guess)
