I found out the reason why Mario Party DS wouldn't work for us- I had to update the firmware for the R4. Many other R4 users were getting the same error we had but after they upgraded to v1.8, they were able to distribute the download easily.

Oh well, next time for sure!

What were your thoughts on the ending?
I thought it was slightly rushed, but it was still fantastic and it wrapped up all loose ties regarding basically every character in the series. And it was a -HAPPY- ending too, thank god!

There were so many junctions and opportunities where the series could've just stopped and had the most depressing ending ever (Car crash?), but in the end everyone was alright. I guess that could be considered a miracle?

Let me know what you think of Shuffle and Da Capo as well, although those two pale in comparison to Kanon. :)
