 Errr... I'm a girl who has been reading manga and watching anime for about 4 years now... I've only found out about MyAnimeList not too long ago so unfortunately I don't have all my manga and anime on here because I've read so many I can't remember ^^;; I used to only read shoujo at the beginning, with a few exceptions, but I've taken a liking to some shonen series too. I'm finding out about more and more series, but if you have any suggestions please tell me! I like interesting plot lines, but really I enjoy pretty much everything (I'm not such a big fan of smutty stuff though). I might be a little tired of the basic shoujo plotlines (girl has to choose between two guys and ends up with the bad boy), but any reading material is good so I still read them once in a while.  Manga has made me want to learn Japanese, so I have a lesson once a week. I also went to Japan when I was 6 and absolutely loved it, so that's also one of the factors. One of my dreams is to go back and visit some friends who live there. I have a very close Korean friend who also made me read manhwa and get into kpop, and I guess manhua will also come one day because I have a Chinese-Malaysian friend too :D Haven't said much about anime because this past year I haven't watched much, but anime really brought me into the manga world so it deserves some recognition too ^^ I think the very first anime I watched was Chobits... Oh yeah I enjoyed purikyu too. I like it when they show kendo club or archery club... i like the costume and poses (SEXY!!!!) and a couple of new words that i pick up. I like it to be a bit educational too sometimes. Like I know so much more about japanese culture and pop cult now too. Especially about tea ceremony. I think Motomi kyousuke did a tea ceremony volume too right? Or was that someone else...? I cant recall.

Ooh if you haven't yet, read the one shot hakuji. Its based on this one guy's "fetish" for white skin and how he falls for a young girl with beautiful skin n ends up as his muse... but its not fetishist at all. Very intense but very awkward and cute.

What're you in the mood for? I can recommend something, I've finished up quite a lot of titles this week in order to clear up my "reading" list".
Like so many shoujos are based on sports like kyousou heaven and archery clubs etc... i'm ok with those. A really good mitsuki miko shoujo was based on swimming. I liked it.
No no, no need to change your dp. It's cute. My field of vision is narrow. Don't think much of it. Man, I read a totally cute 3 chapter manga title called oujosama's orders. The art was good but a bit messy, but the story was super funny. Read it if n when you have twenty minutes to yourself.
Hmm maybe you put Bokura ga ita on hold coz you thought the drama was getting too much for you. I know i felt like that more than once during the course of those 26 episodes. Truthfully, the place that the anime ended and considering how many more volumes have been released, I know another 13 episodes AT LEAST need to be released. Well... let's see.
Vampire Knight has a lot of negative hype about it coz it got so crazy popular. I know it's emo and kind of annoying with how everyone keeps angsting all the time, but the artwork and ost's are soooo worth the watch!
