My i first tried to watch it, i couldn't make it past episode 6, and skipped to episode 10. I've never felt so pissed off an an anime before XD

I did end up going back to watch it completely, but it was still, for the most part, pretty stupid. I didn't like it too much.

That boat scene was creepy as hell and messed up.

Kind of, but there is more than one protagonist involved or rather there isn't a main protagonist. All the characters involved are, by some means, connected to eachother and the situation surrounding some of the characters are unique. I won't clarify what i mean by that. You'd have to watch to find out.

The settings of the story is kind of artsy. The symbolic climbing of the hill from Clannad is nothing in comparison to the symbolism featured in ef. There's alot of symbolism throughout the first season, and the second season relies on it far more than the first.

There are some things i don't quite like about ef, to be honest, but the pros heavily outweigh the cons. It's still hands down an amazing series which is why i stuck with giving it a 10 :P It's still kind of hard to write stuff about it without actually spoiling anything. Discovering how everything in the series plays out is kind of the good thing about it, and giving details before hand kind of ruins the experience of watching it, especially when it comes to anime like this.

Give the opening a watch (first season). It's up on YouTube, the tv sized 1:30 version. Call this a strange thing to mention, but key an eye on the opening in the first season. It its self has symbolism and like the story it...
It’s time to ditch the text file.
