The cover art alone should be sufficient clue that this one-shot is a rape story, one of Mentaiko's (Itto's) explicit-but-not-erotic tales. Despite the protagonist being raped-until-he-cums-despite-himself, and an arguably (but ambiguous) happy ending, the story sits on the disturbing side of the line most of the way through. If being raped with a monster cock is your thing, you might get more from it than I did. Gorgeously illustrated by the talented author - that cover with its degraded bara boy is delicious - Cream Pie did keep my interest through its admittedly brief length. Recommended for fans of the author or disturbing tales.

A great collection of salacious shota stories, each cute, amusing and sexy. The artwork is superb, full of vivid, erotically-charged sex scenes and cute supple characters overwhelmed by the intensity of sensation, with nipple play a consistent, though not overwhelming, theme (concentrated strongly in the three elaborately kinky and standout nipple boy stories, obviously). There's at least a passing nod to a wide variety of kinks, so something for everyone. Also notable is the liquidity of the encounters, with drool and assorted other fluids lavishly rendered as they gush, drip or ooze (always good to see a nice sloppy kiss). Strongly recommended.

Very enjoyable ten-chapter anthology of stories by Shinichi Makinosaka, all amusing and erotic, exploring various themes from incest to crossdressing. Personal favourite would probably be story six, Futari dake no Island (An Island Only for Us). A minor weakness of the collection would be the previously mentioned crossdressing-themed maid cafe stories, which disappoint in not engaging with the fetishistic aspects of transvestism (the element is used more as a disguise). Great, sexy artwork, full of voluptuous girls and cute guys who are all revealed to possess unexpectedly large, engorged, somehow angry-looking cocks. Sex scenes are well-illustrated and laid out for impact. Strong recommend.

A mediocre five chapter hentai anthology from Shiwasu no Okina that is best viewed as an historical curiosity now. Unfortunately, there's nothing particularly noteworthy about this collection. The stories have their moments, but none shine (the fourth is perhaps the best of them). The characters are forgettable and unerotically rendered. The quality of the artwork ranges from "talented amateur" to "not bad", has a distinct 1990s flavour to it that made it feel rather dated, and the sex scenes depicted probably won't get your pulse racing, though it might flutter occasionally. Listlessly read and not recommended - try some of the author's later works.

Another cute, sexy one shot story from Mentaiko (Itto), bringing together two of his typically tasty bara hunks to become more than friends and explore the extreme size difference fetish (one is literally pocket sized). The result is amusing and quite hot with a romantic touch, the amiable characters and their unusual erotic juxtapositions well-rendered and plotted by the talented author. Additional concept art after the story is evidence of the imagination he put into the scenario (I'd have liked to see these developed, perhaps in a sequel). Although there's plenty of sex in this collection once it eventually gets started, overall it left me flat. The premise was intriguing - a class trip to a nude beach - but the incurably priapic main male character's (metaphorical) stiffness was unappealing, despite the efforts of a diverse bevy of his female classmates as they repetitively try to relieve him of his predicament. I found myself vainly hoping he'd be swapped for one of the other boys, but alas no, only girls and techniques changed. The artwork is one of the better elements, but not particularly exciting. I recommend passing on this one.

The sunny poolside cover art ("HOT SUMMER") of this interesting but flawed one-shot yaoi manga belies the dark turn it takes towards the end of its familiar tale of two swim teammates, one harbouring a crush on his charismatic companion. Nice artwork of the masculine young men in Tsukumo Gou's distinctive style is a pleasure as always, and the story is well-written but ultimately marred by what feels like an overly forced and unerotic sexual encounter seemingly designed to railroad the plot to its tragic conclusion. Not Tsukumo Gou's best work, recommended perhaps for fans of the author. Rated 7 for "good, but ..."

Faithfully adapted from the first three chapters of the outstanding hentai manga series of the same name. I preferred the artwork in the original, monochrome as it was, but the new dimensions of motion, sound and colour added to this classic tale of high school wish-fulfillment sex fantasy were highly enjoyable in their own way. The result is a notable short erotic anime. The animation is somewhat basic, but serves its purpose, supplemented by superior voice acting and sound effects as the protagonist and his erotic conquests imaginatively disport themselves in various academic settings. A powerfully erotic hentai manga series that delivers chapter after chapter of delicious high school wish-fulfillment fantasy and concludes with a surprisingly touching origin story for the protagonist's magical girl enabler and her bunny, Anthony. The introductory chapter, an extended series of lasciviously-illustrated blowjobs delivered in the presence of heedless classmates whose clothing has been rendered invisible, is a personal favourite. Subsequent chapters approach it in quality. A lightly amusing anthology of erotic tales whose central conceit - the use and abuse of a series of artefacts for sexual gratification by the misguided employees of an antique store - is diverting enough as a collection of stories, with the well-crafted sex scenes icing on the cake. The artwork is of a high quality, drawn in a pleasingly realistic style; the individual episodes are engaging, occasionally educational, and on a level above your average ero manga. The characters themselves aren't developed particularly deeply, but are still likeable and attractive specimens that pair together well in their various combinations. Strong recommend.
