The show is definitely compelling. The cg was pretty wonky and sub's are pretty clunky but at least they haven't taken away from my enjoyment of the show.
I agree with your assessment for both Nadia and Sidonia.
The one thing I was thinking about Sidonia was how predictable it has been, and that's without me looking at spoilers :P. I do like the fact that they are willing to kill "main" characters, well at least characters that you think will be important. But I can see where it would get tiresome killing off people they spent the whole previous episode building up. They definitely need a balance, although I suspect Nagate and Izana have the highest survival chance of all the characters along with Norio for the time being :P.
Considering I normally look things up, 1.5 months is a long time for me :P.
It has followed the manga really well. I don't remember any scenes added or deleted really. Of course since the arc started airing so long ago I don't remember it all :P.
Oh cool about Jojo, I was wondering what you hadn't started the second season yet, but it sounds like they haven't missed a beat. I'll finish season 1 before Animazement, not sure I'll be caught up with the broadcast though :P.
I'll check out Ping Pong. The art looked weird, but if you're recommending it, I'll definitely give it a try.
Oh awesome, the first arc is pretty epic so far, but if the next is more fun/enjoyable, I'm excited. Of course Dio being a complete and utter dick lessens the enjoyability, but it does make him a really good bad guy.
That's insane about HxH! Here's where following the source material too close isn't a good idea. I guess if they are making money, why rush it to the end, since I don't think there is much to animate after this current arc.
I am surprised how fast things are moving, although since I'm only three episodes I'm sure they are still setting up the overall plot lines. It definitely isn't drawn out yet, I doubt it will ever get to Hunter x Hunter pace though :p.
