Well, aside from rpgs, I like playing mostly fps and fighting games. Call of Duty, Samurai Shodown, Soul Calibur, Resident Evil, Zelda, Okami, Shadow of the Colossus, Super Mario Galaxy, Jump Ultimate Stars, Professor Layton, Metal Gearl, etc.

I bought RE 6 when it came out. I didn't like it. I could only stand playing it for like, 15 mins. Honestly, the last resident evil I really enjoyed playing was the 4th.

My last exam was pretty good I think, but the result hasn't come out yet. Well, I gotta go now! Later ~

Nope, I haven't played Crystal Bearers either.

I hate the idea of a DLC too. Tho I must say that the hard mode DLC for Blue Dragon is free, mostly be cause they messed up the difficulty to begin with.

Good stories are hard to come by these days. Honestly, I'm really tired of the massive fan service in both gaming and anime industries.

How was your test? I still have roughly 10 pages to write and one more exam to go (I had one yesterday.. it went quite well I think). I'm finnaly doing my best. lol

There's not many good rpgs in the xbox. The only thing that pleases me in Lost Odyssey is a Thousand Year of Dreams, which is a series of short stories concerning the main character's past. It's a great reading! Unfortunately the game plot is not as good. It's very silly and not convincing at all. Not mentioning the huge slow downs during battles. Eternal Sonata is terrible.

Tales of Vesperia I'm sure you're gonna like it!

Blue Dragon is a good one too. I strongly suggest you get the hard mode dlc on the xbox live, otherwise the game's gonna be quite boring. Normally, whenever I get to choose, I never go with hard mode. But in this case I had to, cause normal mode was extemely easy.

FFX-2? I didn't like that game. I don't like the mission thing. It feels less like a story and more like an action game. I did like FFXII tho.. not at first, but I gave it another try and I liked it. Yeah, there are flaws, like the sudden ending and the unnecessary characters (Vaan and Penelo). The game changed direction halfway thru, so it's only normal, I guess. But the plot is good and mature and so is the gameplay.

Tales of Graces? Nope, can't say that I have.

I haven't decided anything concrete about my future yet. I've already passed the bar examination in my country, so I'll probably look for a job as lawyer when I graduate. I've even consulted a few relatives who already practice law, but I haven't made a decision. My dissertation monograph is about corporate law (corporate bankruptcy, more specifically). So maybe I'll be sticking with that. But to be honest, I don't know.

Anyway, you shouldn't worry too much. It's only normal to feel a bit at loss at this point.

And yes, I've played Grandia! One of the best rpgs ever, for sure. It's been almost 14 years since I've finished that epic game and it brings back a lot of good memories! Too bad I lost my copy >.<

I don't think I'm more demanding. I mean, have you tried the latest installment in the Star Ocean series? That game is so ridiculous that I couldn't play it for more than 4 hours. It's been a huge downfall since Star Ocean II. The same goes for FFXIII. The only good thing about that game is the battlesystem, besides the graphics of course. The plot is dumb and the characters are shallow.

I did like Tales of Vesperia, Blue Dragon and The World Ends With You tho. And there's a few games I haven't tried yet, like Ni No Kuni, Nier and Xenoblade.

anyway, good luck with that! i've only got 2 exams left (both roman law) and a dissertation monograph. if everything goes well, i'll graduate by the end of this semester.

but it order to graduate i've got to write 20-25 pages about credit and bankruptcy before the 10th of June. it's such a nightmare! it really feels like I won't make it... It's been two weeks since I last wrote something. too many distractions I'd say. LOL but enough with this talk about law and university.. it's getting me down (x_x)

jrpgs are the best. most ppl i know dislike the genre. I used to hate it when I was little kid.. but when final fantasy vii (my frist rpg *_*) came out, it turned to be my favorite. truth is most games I play are rpgs, with very few exceptions, like journey, okami and zelda. this generation has been terrible for the genre. that's the main reason i'm barely playing lately.

and trust me, you should get a ps1 asap! xenogears has one of the best, if not the best plot ever! lunar's story is not as complex.. it's quite simple actually.. but it's great in it's own way! I wish I could be 11 y/o again and play lunar for the first time. T_T

I have no idea why it's hard to find ppl who are into rpg and anime. It feels so natural to like it. lol

the situation here is quite the opposite. i'm on the last period of university (law school). i have a lot of work to do but i'm just procrastinating. hanging out with friends on a daily basis, watching films and anime, listening to lots of music. my life's been quite surreal. and the funny thing is.. this never happened before, well, not in such a large scale. lol

the feeling is mutual! there's nothing i dislike about suikoden 2. it's a great story we both have witnessed. joey and nanami, the runes and the treasons, the madness. Luca Blight is one of the most charismatic villains ever, don't you think?

i got a ps1 again in 2011. i don't regret it!

and don't worry about your english. i'm brazilian.. this language is as foreign to you as it is to me.

the last one I played was Journey. definitely one fo the most sensible and beautiful games i've played in my whole life!!

and yes, i've played all the three you mentioned!! they're all amazing jrpgs!! my favorites would be Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Chrono Trigger, Suikoden 2, Lunar: the Silver Star Story, Final Fantasy VII - VIII - IX, Grandia, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, Xenogears and Journey.

if i had to pick only three, suikoden 2 would certainly be in the list. and chrono trigger too! i'm not so sure about the last one tho.. it's hard to choose only three! but i think i'd go with final fantasy ix, mostly be cause of vivi.. and seriously.. the first 2 discs are perfect. too bad they lost the pace in the end.

This might sound silly, cause this is an anime community, but my point is: if you can recommend such great games like grandia, suikoden, alundra and lunar, then you could point me out great anime and manga too.
