Finished this in 5 secs lol JK. It's a short 49 chapters but it's good read. I enjoy this short but entertaining series. The story itself isn't grand, but it's honestly fun to read.
Arts is good, and it carries the story a lil' bit. Character-wise, I like the main characters; glasses guy, yakuza guy and long haired guy (:v) I like these guys more than the main MC (the guy on the cover).
Not much to comment, because it's short but rather enjoyable. I would say that the ending is a bit rushed, but I don't really mind it. The rushed ending doesn't ruin this

If not for Slam Dunk, I honestly going to give it a 9. Why? it's my first sports anime and I love it. I remember I was super crazy with this anime with my friend and bought many fanmade merchandise related to KnB. However, reading it again after slam dunk, the rating goes down for me.
Story. I love the story until the Touou part (the first time they were crushed by Touou). It was predictable that they would win a champion in the end, so it's kinda predictable. The superpower stuffs are alright, but they exaggerated it to a different level xD as a basketball ...

This is my second sport manga (first is KnB) and this one totally kills it. The story isn't like 'We winnin' highschool championship' and there aren't superpowers in it. OFC they exaggerated movements but they weren't THAT exaggerated. this manga feel so real, and as a basketball fan, I deeply love this manga.
CHARACTERS. The MC's character development is awesome. I really love hanamichi sm. He went from 'playing basketball for Haruko' to 'playing basketball bcs I like the game'. Great story and plot. It was very enjoyable and balanced out. I lowkey love the characters and there's bunch of character I like. The art isn't my cup of tea but is bearable. The art isn't as grand, but turns out I could finish it until the end because the story itself is enjoyable.
It's interesting to see the real world problem brought in this manga such as corruption, discrimination, etc. I really relate to this manga (except the fantasy stuffs in it), if we take the fantasy out of it, it will still make a really enjoyable ride. Honestly this is good read and it's ...

I deeply love the first half. Characters I love are Musashi (obv), Kojiro and the priest (forgot his name tbh). I also like Inshun but he vanished as his battle with Musashi's done :'(. There's alot to learn from this manga. It teaches lots of values in life which is very relatable to me.
Art is amazing amazing and amazing. I was skeptical in semi-realism artstyle, but this hits different. I love Inoue's artstyle, just straight amazing. Paneling is also good, HOWEVER. Give it a 6 thanks to the art. The plot is predictable. I've read the novel as well, and the ending is just straight garbage. The characters aren't fully developed, and for the MC, his development went too fast tbh. it's like first chapter he's shit, then next chapter goes brrrr.
The art is absolutely masterpiece (although the chin is too sharp, it may kill someone x.x) action scenes are great, though I feel it gets kinda 'repeated' so it gets a lil' boring reading it. This last few chapters, I feel they kinda drag it with the action scenes so it got boring LOL. But ...

I was into this story for the first few chapters. The characters are okay, some even grew on me. I don't really like the MC, he was good at first and his developments are good, but it kinda stop midway and i feel that his development got a little worse(?) idk that's just what i felt.
