Prone to love Mystery, Romance, Drama, Slice of Life and High fantasy shows. Definitely biased, so take my ratings with a grain of salt as MAL is mostly used for me to remember and reminisce, and a tool to find shows i want to re-watch that i forgot the name of and to recommend to friends.

Its all highly opinionated and to show which shows I absolutely adore and rate shows for friends that are hesitant to watch something.

Above mentioned genre’s always have a special place for me, and if it can truly catch me because of either emotion or just being generally amazing to me it can be rated higher than some might would.

I still try to keep watching with a critical eye and ratings might change based on the amount of Anime’s i’ve watched because of comparison material.

TL;DR :

most ratings on MAL are purely biased, stop worrying and find a genre you love, if a description of a show seems interesting to you just watch it and stop worrying about overall scores. :)
