Note: I will mostly talk on how this one is adapted. And slight spoilers
Story 9/10: Well, the overall story compared to Babylonia is meh. But for how it was adapted, it's an anime that perfectly captured the essential parts and further enhanced it making it better than the source material.
People will think Avengers Endgame, but Solomon was never about that. It's a conclusion for Romani's choice, a resolution for Mash's life, a definition to the "Solomon" and a setting for Ritsuka Fujimaru's whole character in Cosmos in the Lostbelt.

Note: I shall only talk about how this movie adapted it's part in the game and only it.
16 mins in, it already prove itself that it's objectively better than the 1st movie. The story behind the fights can be seen in the said fights already. The changes were great too. The animation and OSTs of the fights? Impressive. The intensity that I felt when reading the story in the game can be felt on the fights the Knights of the Round Table. The OSTs made the scenes better, and the animation is just pure SAKUGA. I know myself that many people don't really like some rough handrawn ...

Having read the source material, I can only review this on how it was adapted. And honestly, they adapted it great. From the soundtrack, the visuals, and while lacking, the characters were great too. Mushoku Tensei is a one whole redemption arc, and this 1st half in particular presented Rudeus' flaws very well. It really shows how much of a bastard and perverted he is. And honestly, I'm happy that they did it well. Because this flaws is the proof that he have a large room for improvement and character development especially that he's still 10 yrs old in that very cruel world.
