i don't like giving mean scores, most of what i read or watch i enjoy. unfortunately i can only give scores with integer numbers so some 7.x series end up paired with some 8.x series or 8.x series with 9.x series and some 9.x series end up with a 10. I value the ending of a series a lot, so a good series can end up with up with a really low score because i think a bad ending can ruin the whole experience.
Some other reason for a bad score may be the repetitiveness(like fairy tail) of a series or the series being outright bad like SAO first and second season, bad anime adaptations of good manga get the axe too.

PD:Just to be clear, even if i give perfect scores to some series, Berserk manga(up to the date of Miura's departure) is the 10 out of 10. This is for me and my taste at least, at the end of the day a series can be completely different but still be perfect in my eyes, its like different flavors.

PD:objectively perfect doesn't exist but i have to give 10s to something.
