Mushishi (Anime) add
No contest the most chilled-out anime I've ever watched. Can almost feel my heart rate dropping when I watch it.

Story & Character: The story is episodic, only the main character and a few, select, others appear more than once. Some episodes were definitely better than others, and there was some general plot going on but nothing comes of it.

Art & Sound: Acceptable.

Enjoyment: Definitely something to decompress to; I wish it wasn't episodic.

Steins;Gate (Anime) add
One of the few "genuinely" funny anime that I've watched; what I mean by that is it wasn't some conditioned, in-the-know, humor being used that only frequent and savvy anime watchers would get, it was humor that anyone can get.

Story & Character: The story is a blend of almost sitcom-like scenarios and sci-fi themes that comes together into quite the show. Thoroughly fleshed out cast, however plagued with a certain ~nya character that almost certainly can be given the "Weakest Link" award.

Art & Sound: I liked the music a lot, it helped the scenes rather than hurt them. The art, in retrospect, seemed dulled and ...

Angel Beats! (Anime) add
Dare I say one of the best contemporary anime? The "weak point" of this series might be that it's so short.

Story & Characters: Plot... this is an anime to look back at the first episode and think "I definitely didn't see this coming". Most of the characters are nearly anime-worthy themselves and you really get attached to all of them.

Art & Sound: Very solid, all-round; the rock music that the band plays though, awesome.

Enjoyment: As you could probably gather from the score I gave this anime, I adore it. One of the select few anime that I could show to my family with confidence that ...

Came into this anime with no expectations one way or the other; someone just told me I should watch it, so I did so. The plot twists and turns like no other and you get the feeling they could expand upon a lot of things if they chose to do so.

Story & Characters: Characters are well-crafted and thought-out; no filler-esque, empty-headed, characters here people. The plot feels like it could go anywhere at anytime and will keep you on your toes.

Art & Sound: Suits the anime; nothing stood out to me as especially poor or good.

Enjoyment: I really liked the anime; several waifu-worthy characters. ...

Nisekoi (Anime) add
Fair warning, this anime is probably never going to end; it's one of those that keeps on adding character after character until you can't keep track of them all anymore. The harem is strong with this main character.

That said, if you aren't looking for a "serious" romantic anime, look no further than Nisekoi. Hell, if you're looking for a non-serious romantic anime 2 years from now; this shit is probably still going to be on-air. You'll probably get some laughs out of it and enjoy the characters, but try to look any deeper than the shallow humor and gags; the whole anime begins to ...

Mixed Feelings
First off, I would like to say that the art style of this anime is wonderful and is definitely a high-point; you won't be disappointed. But my problem with this anime is that it is the epitome of "I love y-" syndrome, where a character almost says something affectionate and plot moving and then someone interrupts it all and they go back to square one. This happens about 20 times in various combinations of people, by the end I couldn't take it anymore. The ending was relatively unsatisfactory but I suppose I'll accept it.

Mixed Feelings
Starts off very interesting; considering this is roughly based on one of the greatest movies of all time I expected no less. Not a fan of the shitty robot-CGI that was consistently employed in anime around this time, and this had a lot of it. Gets stronger and stronger through the middle, by this time you start getting really invested into the story and characters. The villain, IMO, is very good and fits the theme; the main problem is the protagonist that emerges is far from his "equal" in terms of personality and depth. So by the end I was almost rooting for the 7 ...
