lmao
Steins;Gate is really not a hard anime to understand.
I won't claim that you need to be "smart" or something to understand it like I see others do.
But if you seriously can't grasp the plot it is very likely you have a well below-average IQ.
There are certainly gripes you can have with the anime - but the story not making sense is not really a valid one.
As the kids say you have a major "skill issue".
> gives TG: Square Root A a high score
> gives Elfen Lied one of the most cliched and tropey animes to exist ever a 7
> no consistency
> Steins;Gate opinion invalid.
A 3 rating on Steins;gate is a sign of your lack of understanding. You're not seeing the whole picture. Although the characters seem stereotyped as the plot progresses, their fears and desires are revealed, and how these affect the actions of the protagonist, generating problems, since Okabe in his desire to help the members of the laboratory ends up screwing up. It's true that the protagonist, makes mistakes and seems to act irrationally at times. However, these errors and his eccentric nature are fundamental to his development. Throughout the series, Okabe undergoes significant evolution, showing an emotional depth that goes beyond the caricature of a "mad scientist".
