I don't rate anime series I've dropped, and I usually drop a series I really dislike after 2 or 3 episodes. That's why my ratings are skewed towards above average ones. If I don't like something, I most likely won't finish it.

A lot of the older anime are rated based on what I felt at the moment I watched it (sometimes even ~15 years ago) or how I remember it right now, so they might not be precise. However, I obviously won't go back and re-watch all of them just to give them better ratings.
