I am baguette.
Watching anime since 2015 I guess so not that much experience yet.
My rating is as follow ( I use it more as a comparative scale more than actually a grading scale) :
- 10 to 8 : really enjoyed it and I will most likely watch this again.
- 7 and 6 : quite ok but not something I was really into (or some episodes killed the mood, like Toradora last 2 eps), still interesting anyway
- 5 : Watchable, but was really only watching it for completion and was never looking forward the next episode
- 4 and 3 : that's bad, like I'm falling asleep bad.
- 2 : that's either so disgusting that I'm feeling bad to even watch this (i'm looking toward you zankyou no terror) or either so bad that it's becoming quite good (ever watched the 1966 Batman movie ?)
- 1 : the lack of any common sense in this piece of shit has transcended the notion of good or bad. Watching this is a social experience. A bit like the second case of the 2 grade, but to a whole new level).
And a side note : I'm really not into episodic format and prefer to have a good plot lasting the whole series and present from the beginning (reason why I did not enjoy/dropped shows like Cowboy bepop/Trigun)
Most important thing : if I could give 11/10 Redline would get it .
My manga list is totally incomplete should be at least 3 times longer but I'm lazy

So you're watching Gintama that's great.
Well let me give you an advice.
Just for the information.
The first Episodes and the following first Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people. So maybe for you as well.
But it will improve a lot afterwards.
So I hope you will keep on watching Gintama
