They sort of hinted that Makoto was based on an older girl called Makoto, but the weird thing is the older girl also likes foxes, has those two bells and looks exactly like Makoto but older. Even Yuuichi was surprised, so I think that is the conclusion for that mystery...

Right now I am watching Toradora! and Kobato. Both are really nice~
I've watched Hellsing, its hilarious, I haven't seen the sequel yet...I sort of gave in the genre of action...

I see. Well it's about preferences too so I understand.
I like Fairy Tail mostly for it's comedy which is a lot good.
And as for One Piece, it might start a bit boring but reaching a certain part the anime becomes just awesome.

Yosuga no Sora is incest. The anime is an example of purely incest on par with Kiss x Sis..haha

You dropped Fairy Tail and One Piece because of their length or because you were not liking the stories ? Fairy Tail has much more to go but One Piece atm is like a real masterpiece!!
I'm a real fan of ecchi and harem anime here. I can watch anything related without caring about the story plot or what people think as long as there's ecchi and especially lots of girls.

Here I watch practically every anime genres with the exception of yaoi and boys love.
Less of horror and psychological.
Most favorited are Shounen, Comedy and Ecchi. :D
One Piece, Gintama, Fairy Tail are some of my most fav anime.
Otherwise I like my slice of life/romance more with comedy like Baka to test, school rumble and kaichou wa maid sama than comedy with drama/tragedy like shuffle.
In short Comedy is like god to me cause it fits nearly most of other anime genres. :D
I love ecchi a lot too. Some of my favorite ecchi anime are Rosario vampire, Sora no Otoshimono, Kiss x Sis, Motto to love ru, B Gata H kei and HOTD not including the 2011 and recent one.

I do give recommendations only if you state specifically what you're searching for :P

It is, when I am watching Kanon I think to myself...No I am nearing the end!!
This anime is too good to end. *sigh*

As for Makoto it is so sad, I am up to where Yuuichi and Makoto are on the Monomi Hill saying their last goodbyes. It's so sweet how Yuuichi marries her. I hope Makoto returns, since there is a snipit of her being 'asleep'. Haha, no spoilers though...

Nodame is hilarious. She's really silly in terms of being herself and how she acts. Very immature, you'll like the humorous side of Nodame Cantabile. :)
I'm currently watching Kanon, and its so sad. Not as sad as Clannad:AS though.

You should watch Nodame Cantabile. It's amazingly good.
The romance is very slow, but its very cute and nice. I loved the comedy in it since Nodame is so funny. You'll enjoy how funny she is.
The music for it is also beautiful. Go watch it!!

I like slice of life, psychological, fantasy, comedy and drama.
Although for romance I much prefer to slow paced ones like Nodame Cantabile and Hotarubi no mori e.
