But yeah, no worries. I am always rather confused about music categorization, myself. I think I like some of M-Flo's stuff, though. ;P And I believe that Emi Hinouchi isn't half bad, either.

And hum... As for a few recommendations for your sort of interest... (I don't know many yakuza stories, to be honest, though) I'm investigating and finding a couple only so far... I'll be sure to post more as soon as I retrace (unfortunately I forget to record on MAL, most of the time. ;< ) my memory...

Cool. I'm quite the fan of BACK-ON and LAST ALLIANCE since they are rather awesome J-Rock bands that are somewhat similar to... EXILE, ELLEGARDEN, BUCK-TICK, Bump of Chicken, and FLOW. >v<~! Ah yeah, I also recommend Aqua Timez and Beat Crusaders, they're quite cool and nice to listen to, too. ;/

As for Female artists, I could make a few more recommendations... such as Nami Tamaki, Yuki Kaijura, June, and Younha. Band-wise, Garnet Crow is quite nice, too. Those folks are my favorite pop/rock singers, at least. ;P

Ah yeah... I recently just got into Asian R&B... It's rather nice... Erm... I don't even remember who've I've heard, though. Lol. Might you have any recommendations? :D

Anyway, I shall, for sure, start to use last.fm soon. I'll let you know when I've created an account and all to share more artists interests and whatnot with ya. ^-^

As for myself, I enjoy various Japanese and Chinese bands as well. My main favorites would include those within the "techno" music and style genres, though... Then again, I also like Rock music, especially from Japan. >v<~!

Looking at your list made me very happy to see another fan of MANY of the same bands that I also like to listen to... Including... Gackt<3 ; Gazette<3 ; ELLEGARDEN<3 ; FLOW<3 ; Plastic Tree<3 ; T.M. Revolution<3 ; UVERworld<3 ; W-inds.<3 . But yesh and many more...

Maybe, I should perhaps begin using lastFM to record my favorites, too.

But yeah, I was first introduced to DBSK by my friend literally a year ago... That's how I got into the whole Korean music fandom realm (although I can't even understand the songs ;/ but the music is just too amazing to resist ;P ). So, I love them quite a bit, too...

My favorite bands, though... would probably include Big Bang along with Super Junior and SS501. Epik High is purely amazing, too.

I'm also familiar and fan of many others... I mean, I've listened to at least few of their songs each more than ten times each. ;/ These would include: Fly to the Sky, H.O.T., Kang Ta, Seo Taiji & Boys, Se7en, and Shinhwa.

Eh heh. I also love and enjoy MANY Japanese artists' works along with several Chinese singers. Mmm.. I think the only Thai artists I know would be Golf? Lol... I'm not that familiar with any other country's bands/singers.

And listing my favorite Japanese artists would require another couple paragraphs of ranting.. which I believe you wouldn't appreciate.. so I won't this round, unless you request it. ;P
