My Ranking Criteria: (NOTE: I don't factor out Personal Bias, what makes media fun to consume is what it means to you as a person, so getting rid of that would be a problem)

10/10 - (9.5-10) Something that is flawless and clearly stands out among its peers (IE: Owarimonogatari S2) or something that while having little tiny flaws, has a unique take that stands above any of its other peers, either emotionally or creatively that makes it something truly special. (IE: FLCL) (Must watch content)

9/10 - (8.5-9.4) Something that is consistently great with standout aspects that make it super unique but has a few minor flaws (IE: Konsosuba Movie) or something that has high highs and unique creative ideas so good it elevates it beyond an 8 despite maybe having a few big flaws (IE: Your Name) (would ask anyone to read/watch this even if it's not normally their thing)

8/10 - (7.5-8.4) Something that is consistently good but has one or two aspects that keep it from rising to the next level (IE: One Punch Man S1) or something that should be a 7 but I subjectively like it so much that it feels wrong to give it a 7. (IE: Toradora) (would recommend it to someone unless they hate something specific about this show)

7/10 - (6.5-7.4) Something that is good but doesn't stand out as unique or special (IE: Attack on Titan S1), or something that has those unique or special qualities but either faltered in some aspects or got weighed down by a dip in quality in part of the show/book. (IE: Wonder Egg Priority) (would recommend it to someone if it fit their taste)

6/10 - (5.5-6.4) Something that is pretty mid but I actually like it/it's carried by something very good (IE: Another) or something that should be good but weighed down by subpar aspects of the show. (IE: Stardust Crusaders Part 1) (could be recommended to someone in a very niche case)

5/10 - (4.5-5.4) Something so middle of the road it's hard to tell if it has more good content or more bad content. (IE: The Seven Deadly Sins) (maybe could recommend to one or two people)

4/10 - (3.5-4.4) A show/book that has more bad content than it has good content but is overall a pretty watchable show. Won't make you feel like you entirely wasted your time. Usually ends up on the more boring side than bad (IE: My Hero Academia 3rd season) but can also be an overall fun watch even if it's bad (IE: Dragon Ball Super) (probably wouldn't recommend ever)

3/10 - (2.5-3.4) Either a 2 that has bad moments that are actually fun to watch (IE: Sword Art Online) or a 4 that while it has good content within it, its bad content is so bad It makes it hard to finish (FLCL Alternative) (would only recommend in cases of The Room)

2/10 - (1.5-2.4) Something that would be a 1/10 if not for some aspect of the show/book being too redeemable/watchable to make me feel it deserves a 1. (IE: Shinsekai Yori) (would actively ask people not to watch/read this)

1/10 - (0.5 - 1.4) This means the show/book has little to no redeeming qualities (IE: Tenkuu Danzai Skelter+Heaven) or if it's a sequel, makes what comes before it worse by association in addition to the first statement. (please for heaven's sake don't watch this)

0/10 - (0 - 0.4) Not a thing on MAL but a show being rated this means that there isn't a single thing worth consuming this media for and watching it actively harms my happiness. Also ruins anything associated with it (Memetic Hazard)
