Ever wondered what the mascot of Nitro+ Super Sonico's life was like? - Well this anime can show you just that. At first, Super Sonico was a mascot with her own band and sang great songs. She became pretty popular so it was decided that an anime should be based on her. We get to meet some of Sonicos good friends and see just what type of life Sonico has. Which Is actually a pretty busy one. There is a lot of fan service, as expected however the story is just a simple slice of life show with music.
Super Sonico, pretty well known for
...
her curvy curves, in which she becomes a model in the anime. As well as that, she's a collage student, performs in a band, and is always willing to help someone. They really do create a perfect character for Super Sonico. There is really nothing bitter about her at all, she is pure sweetness. However, her kindness and always willing to help sort of takes on a life of its own, therefore her friends have to help out in a big way so that Sonico can be there everybody. She sure is a popular character. So overall, Super Sonico actually has a pretty tough busy life, but can still have a smile on her face and keep up her amazing looks ! :3
As for her other friends such as the drummer in her band, Fuuri Watanuki. Is pretty close to Sonico. She's also a little more on the chubby side too, which I think is absolutely amazing for people who feel insecure about their weight. One of Fuuri's main hobbies is eating, of course playing the drums but you always see her eating. She's also more of a fun joking around type of character who can always make someone smile.
As for Sonico's other friend, Suzu Fujimi. She is actually a pretty important character. She's the bassist and the band leader. She is the one to first meet Super Sonico and asks her if she wanted to start a band. Of course, Sonico accepted and their relationship grew from there. Suzu is a little more serious than the other characters, although she does sometimes let out a joke or two.
Yes, this show is mainly focused on Super Sonico, however we do get to see many other characters. It starts off pretty nice but then goes down hill a little and may want to make you stop watching it. Unless, you're a very strong Super Sonico fan in which case you might enjoy this anime a lot.
- Also, Super Sonico is always getting mixed up with vocaloids. She's not a vocaloid guys :)

Yes, this show is very strange however there was something about it that makes you want to keep watching it, and not take your eyes off the screen. The story is pretty much about a somewhat perverted guy and his mysterious girlfriend. Throughout the show it made me think, are these two even together? because they didn't do hardly anything that normal couples do like the simple things, cuddling, kissing, or even holding hands. If you're one of those people who are begging for the first kiss to happen, then you're going to be disappointed.
First of all we have, Urabe Mikoto. She first appears
...
as a rather normal, shy type of girl with a rather gothic type of style. In class, she happens to sit next to Tsubaki Akira. And one day, while in the middle of class, she just bursts out laughing for no reason what so ever. You find out what it is later on in the show but at that time, people just thought she was crazy and decided to keep their distance. She was never fazed by this, as you would expect of her character. She always seems like she's trying to hide her emotions as best as she can, which makes it a little sad in some ways.
As for Tsubaki Akira, he's just your average high school guy who is presented as a perverted character as well as his best friend. He lives with is older sister who has always been like a mother to him, they have a pretty close relationship. One day, Tsubaki notices that Urabe has left some drool on her classroom desk where she had been sleeping, and he just happened to TASTE IT. That's right. And that's pretty much how there relationship began to bloom. Once he and Urabe started dating, he was always thinking of her in lewd ways, even though that's in his mind and not telling Urabe...she knows exactly when he's thinking it.
We see other characters who are important to the show too. One being from his past and another being his friend's girlfriend (they have actually kissed at least) I really think this show deserves a second season, there a still questions that need answers, and a lot of great stuff happens in the manga, but it would be so much better in an anime. I would love to see Tsubaki's and Urabe's relationship grow.

I first found this anime through a gorgeous figure of Sega Saturn. It was a big shock on the first episode when I saw the art style, very unique x) I wouldn't say that there is much of a story to this, it's basically about three girls who need to achieve 100 medals by going into games in order to graduate. Their names and style are based from Sega consoles. You have, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast and Mega Drive. Despite this anime only having 11 minutes per episode, it is surely going to keep you entertained! Especially if you're a Sega fan.
Sega Saturn is more of
...
a tsundere type, however you don't see that side of her much since there isn't that many main characters. I think she shows more different emotions then the other characters, one minute she can be really happy and the next minute embarrassed or sad.
Dreamcast is a very confident character, who you would think is the clumsy "sakura" type of character from the Naruto series. But she isn't, she helps out a lot in each of the games they characters go into and play but of course she has those moments where she just needs a rest. And she always pushes her friends to go further x)
Mega Drive, is more of a smart kind of character, she's not very good in the fighting or dancing type of games, however, that's because she's a healer. She has high expectations in her life when she graduates and that's one of the things I like about her. She's rather emotionless until she has to do something she doesn't want to do which makes her embarrassed.
Overall I think everyone should check out this show at least once, its very long and the games they play are pretty fun. However it might not be for everyone

For me, this anime was an amazing entertainment. If you enjoy comedy and romance then this is definitely the type for you!. On the first episode, you straight away get to see what type of characters the main one's are like, Taiga and Ryuuji. The disappointing thing, is that I thought there relationship would develop more faster into a "love" type of relationship. An excellent refreshing type of anime non the less! . The other thing I want to mention is the soundtrack, its very peaceful for the special moments in this anime that just fit so perfectly. And a nice high quality animation, I
...
especially loved the effect with Taiga on the first episode.
The characters of Taiga and Ryuuji, are both quite similar. They're both the most aggressive people in school, which the students are most afraid of. So they tend to stay away from then, kind of like an outcast however both the characters do have friends. The backstory's of these characters are not taken that much into detail, however they get you to think more differently on both the characters. Both of these characters are the tsundere types, which is why I think took them both so long to figure out their feelings. However their relationship begins to blossom right from the first episode. Then you have the other main characters, Ami, Minori and Kitamura. Minori being the friend of Taiga's and Kitamura is the friend of Ryuuji's. And then you have Ami, who happens to be a popular model who everyone in the school admires.
Minori, starts off as a very energetic and cheerful character who can always put a smile on your face. But as things start to build up, we see her moods start to change in a little, in a sort of depressing way which turns into very strong emotions between her and Taiga, Ryuuji and Ami. Minori is also a character who you just...cant hate as she is such an amazing fun character who mainly likes to focus on making her friends happy.
Ami, well, we see her a two-faced character. One side she is nice and what seems to be the perfect person, and on the other side, she has a himedere type of personality. She turns into a mean character who doesn't seem to care about anyone around her. She first makes this impression on Taiga in a coffee shop. Ami is well known for her good looks and charm in this show, and through each episode we get to see her other personality slowly come out, and get more serious in life.
Kitamura is pretty much an average guy who goes about his day, however he does play an important role in this show by figuring out what's right for his friends around him. Until one day he just brakes and goes a little crazy for a bit, and eventually go back to his normal self. We get to see him express many emotions and feelings which you would not really think he had. He always seemed to be in one type of mood until that heart-warming episode came along. He doesn't have much of a back story but a good character, only slightly boring.
So, a lot of times you will be finding yourself wondering how long will it be until someone finally confesses to someone. I have to admit is was rather frustrating, however I knew something good was going to happen, and that's one of main things that can really keep you watching this anime. An absolutely amazing entertainment!

Before I get started I just want to say, I'm so sorry if this seems like a long review xD :It may also contain spoilers but I tried my best to keep them out:
First off, Wow, just wow, this anime was one hell of a ride. This anime really did contain so many genres, bounding into one, which created it into an amazing enjoyable anime to watch. But of course it does have its flaws like every anime out there. One of the main things that impressed me about this anime was that, it was always ready to keep going and make the person watching
...
it, enjoy and want to keep on watching it and wanting more of it. Which in my opinion led onto the movie. In this anime you get to see, action, comedy, romance, slice of life and even sci fi in some ways. The art style is very good, but could be a little better in some scenes. The characters have their own personality's of course, from, moe to kuudere, to laid back characters and even god herself. These characters really make you want to know more about them and the anime did well on you showing you more of what type of characters they are.
The story of this anime was very exiting, there is the main male protagonist, Kyon. Which isn't actually his real name, nobody knows what it is. And I guess you could say he gets dragged into a girls other type of world. A world where she gets what she wants, and anything can happen. And that girl would be the other main character Haruhi. And she also brings other people into this world that she had created of her own. All the characters are taken on this "haruhi" adventure that is full of craziness and it just makes you fell like you're on that crazy adventure too.
The characters are like I said, the type that make you want to know more about them. First off you have Kyon who is a laid back type of character who just goes about his everyday life until one day, hes taken away from that and instead had developed a much for fun exiting life thanks to Haruhi. And Haruhi, is the one who makes it all happen. She seems to think that there is no fun in life at all, so Kyon gave her the idea to make the thing that she had been looking for which was a club. The SOS Brigade. Since she has this god like power to have whatever she wants and, pretty much control the world. She can never know that she has that type of power because she is kind of crazy and would do something very dramatic. For example going far as blowing up the world. Haruhi wanted to have an alien, a time traveler and an espier in her club, which leads us up to the kuudere like character, Yuki. Yuki is the alien of the group who had been sent down to earth. She is silent character who we don't really see much of apart from the rare fight scenes that appear. Yuki is definitely a character who you want to know more about, fortunately you see a lot more of her in the movie. Yuki also had to put up with a lot of crazy things Haruhi did, she also had to repeat an extremely long period of time just because Haruhi felt that summer vacation just wasn't enough fun. Mikuru is your typical moe character who is the time traveler. She had been forced into the club by Haruhi, but it is still Mikurus duty and the other characters duty to keep Haruhi from going out of control she also has to put up with some embarrassing things that Haruhi makes her do. Lastly we have Koizumi. I would call him the cool type of character who sort of bonds things together you can also see him as rather two faced but non the less he is still a very important character.
Overall, I The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya will always be one of my all time favourites for its amazing story line and its on going entertainment. It is definitely something any otaku or anime lover would love :)

A lot of people say this anime was like K-on. I didn't think it was at all apart from moeness and music. I was kind of expecting a K-on type of thing but right from the first episode I knew it was going to be different. Maybe the manga is more like it, however I haven't read it. In my opinion, the music genre for this was rather unique because I haven't seen an anime where they mainly focus on a classical type of genre, which really made it stand out. And that was another thing why I was exited to watch this anime, to
...
see how they would take that type of thing on.
The characters were really delightful and the type you would want to see more of. At one point, I begin to not like a certain character but then grow to really enjoy watching them in this anime. This was mainly focused towards Kousaka Reina, who I didn't really like at first but then realised she's actually a pretty sweet person who was ready to go for her dream. The character of Oumae Kumiko was not what I expected. I was expecting much more of a cheerful energetic type of character, like Yui Hirasawa from K-on. But she turned out to be a kind of cool laid back character which I was glad about :)
The main thing I liked about this anime was the art style. It just made me go wow, the instruments were absolutely beautiful and so were the character designs. I especially loved the characters eyes, they really did stand out. Overall, I think this anime was a nice unique type of work that can really open up to a lot of people, especially if you were ever in a high school band.
