Review: This manga was a simple enough concept with a good execution for the most part. Review: This manga is a shining beacon of hope for mature Korean manga. Almost no rape, only one horrible person and it finishes before randomly throwing shit out to keep the story going that ends up being terrible. he had that many girls who he almost dated in one year rapes the mc and then is like "I did all these vile things to ruin your relationships with other girls, including poisoning one and spreading a rumor that you did it. I'm a horrible person." Okay, nice. At least she realises it. Too bad the author doesn't. They're like "It's really the mc's fault for not noticing she liked him and for not predicting the future." For one, the mc is not responsible for someone else knowing that they like them unless they can read minds. And for two, it's the girl's own fault she got locked in the school overnight. She planned the whole thing. The only other person you could blame at all is her cousin for forgetting to come back until late. Anyway, they make them basically fall in love at the end. Everything about this manga was terrible except the few moments where the story wasn't pure despair. The only reason you'd like this manga is if you want to see a woman be raped and abused multiple times and then settle down with her rapist to protect the man she actually cares for. We never even find out why she married him in the first place! It was just vaguely hinted that he may have bought her or something from her mom. But her mom protecting her decision to leave him contradicts that. They really had to make the ending the rapist impregnating her and the mc possibly getting back with his cheating ex who he doesn't even really love? My Stepmom 51/51, Score: 6.5/10 Start Date: 3/14/2021 End Date: 7/8/2021, Review: This manga was weird and frustrating from start to finish. He bones his stepmom and then gets mad and treats her like a whore. She pseudo-rapes him. Then just pretends like she doesn't like him at all and, for what was shown, that may be true. Even in the end, you don't really know if they get together because they want to or if it's just to raise the child together. And if I pretend like the author intended it that way, that's kind of neat. The main problem with this manga is that nobody is really likeable, yet you have to spend so much time with them. The main character is a spoiled, immature brat who doesn't care much for anyone. Even near the end, he persuades a girl into giving him her virginity instead of selling it to an old man and then is like "I'll be back" and abandons her. The father is the kind that does and says horrible things to his son but does so because he cares about him deep down. The frustrating part is that we have to sit there and deal with his shit so much, he just becomes unlikeable scum. Her sister is just a strange character and the fact that she screws both him and his dad is disgusting. Overall, it's really not worth much. There's more sex than plot, the mc has a weird fetish that keeps popping up and the resolution is slapped together at the last second. It makes it very hard to rate this one since I only really read one chapter in over three months. I know it was at least a decent manga but I barely remember anything at this point. But the romance and ending are decent. If you don't want any of the terrible tropes that are in most Korean manga, this one is a good pick. Her defending her rapist by saying it was her fault and trying to convince the MC not to report the rape: more disgusting(even if it's sadly realistic). The MC not reporting the rape(it's more important that you stop a rapist from repeating the crime than adhering to the victim's wish): frustrating. Start Date: 4/15/2021, Reason: This is just a perfect point to stop. If I know Korean authors, this story is only going to get ruined from now on. Right now, the mc and main girl are together and happy (except when the guy himself was fucking it up that one time and she just helped slightly) and found herself a guy who made her happy The Girlfriend Dice 38/? Start Date: 4/17/2021, Reason: This manga was always a little questionable. With its mc who is fairly selfish and at time pushes the boundaries of acceptability and the premise itself of the guy rolling a dice to get a new girlfriend each time who basically has memories implanted in her. But this last arc went above and beyond to be way beyond the line it was skating. They decided that Mina needed some revenge on the mc. That certainly seems feasible, especially after the last arc where his mindset was starting to get a little scary. The problem is they went way too far to get said revenge. How can you get revenge on your boyfriend who has started taking advantage of your kindness in small ways? Apparently the answer is manipulating him by saying you'll cheat on him unless he agrees to anything you say for a day. Then proceeding to push what he's comfortable with doing with that leverage held over his head. But that wasn't fucked up enough. No. They end the night by straight up having her handcuff and blindfolding him against his will and doing various sexual acts without his consent, including anal rape with her fingers and a vibrator. This was justified by her being like "You had anal sex with me so I can do it back." The problem with this logic is that not only did she consent to the anal sex but she was the one who actually asked him to do it with her. Not to mention the fact that doing a bad act to someone for them doing it first doesn't make it a good thing. The fact that he ended up liking these things is no excuse. Start Date: 3/21/2021, Reason: This manga should be called "Piece of Shit Guy" because this guy the opposite of stand up. I felt sympathy for him the first few chapters. His fiancé cancelled the wedding and left him at the last second. Then he fucks his coworker which wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the fact that she is married. It doesn't matter if her husband is cheating on her. She should break it off if she wants to have flings with other dudes. All these criticisms apply equally to both her and her husband. Start Date: 5/4/2021, Reason: While I was reading, I wrote "I'm dropping this the second something happens to the only non-horrid person in this manga." Well, it happened so here we are. It just so happened to occur on the exact last chapter that has been translated. Granted, it's not as bad yet as I thought they'd put her through but I know it's just building up to that. They wanna make the Vice President "What's the big deal about this girl getting violated? Nearly every woman in the series is raped at some point." went from sex -> anal rape on a girl who's worst offense was that she persuaded him to have sex with her(he pretty much wanted it in the first place so there was little persuasion). The girl trying to still fuck a guy who did it with her mom was pretty gross too. I felt a little ill after that.
