ehm Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction is... about UFOs ? ..eh sorry it is pretty hard to explain, since it is a work by Asano Inio, so it is mostly about the society , the human nature, psychology , interaction, smart dialogs/monolog ...eh yeah :D

And yeah it is really great, you should give it a try.
But yeah, Oyasumi Punpun is my fav. So this is my recommendation to you. ^^I could actually identify myself with this manga alot, but it is pretty depressive..so whenever you feel like shit , you should read it. :D
