With December 15th, I'm back from the 4-year hiatus on MAL (December 28th 2020 was around the last time I actually watched/read something). Reason? Loss of interest in anime and manga due to various factors in my life at the time (mostly negative). Fortunately, life got better and here I am once again. I'm writing this because someone actually cared enough to check my profile once in a while during my absence according to my profile views. I'll delete this paragraph in about a month or two or when I'll remember to.
Anyway, I'm mainly interested in mecha and space opera genres. I may watch something else if it'll be intriguing enough, especially if it's dark or edgy (yeah, I still like that). I don't care about seasonal content nowadays and I loathe anything that tends to be cuteness overload and has absolutely nothing else going for it. I know cute things are part of the modern Japanese culture, but that's one thing I don't like about Japan despite studying their language.
Speaking of Japanese, I'll eventually start consuming raw media in the next few years (I hope I'll be able to do that already in 2025), so you can expect more obscure stuff from me when that happens.
