Yeah, I searched this episode on youtube too. I also checked out some of my fav anime online sites too but I still can't find it.. It's the last thing about FMA world I didn't watched yet :))

I finished Code Geass in almost 3 days - what a great anime!
Clamp managed to fuck with my mind once again, hahaa. Watching this made me feel so confused, like a child who does not know what is right and what is wrong. I didn't knew what to think anymore... I felt confused about Leloush's actions during most of the show... I didn't really liked him but I couldn't manage to hate him either. However, he gained my respect and admiration during the last few episodes and the ending was so fucking perfect!.. I'm pretty sure he's still alive but even if he's not, the ending is still gorgeous.

Yeah, I feel the same way.. Without L, Death Note is just disappointing ..
You're so cute with your love for Hunter ;)) I checked it out and wow!... there are soooo many episodes...

I think you should read "L change the world" novel. It's an alternative ending to Death Note in which L wrote his own name in the Death Note and he has 23 days to live and 22 days to save the world.
The novel was meant to show L's more human side and it made me love this character even more. I read it especially for L and not for the plot itself. In fact, it seems to be written especially for L's fans. I think it worth the time and it was a fun read.

I remember that I really felt like L was in a great danger when Light decided to use Rem to kill him. I was very worried about him but I hoped that L would find a way to survive.
I don't think he planned his death (he tried to save his friends using the notebook and I guess he couldn't help them by dying) but there are many details suggesting he was expected to be murdered. In that rainy scene, on the roof, he asked Light if he could hear the sound of bells and Kira answered that he couldn't head anything..
L acted strangely during the staires scene too. He helped Light like he felt he could make him change his mind by showing his friendship. He previous said Light was his only friend and maybe he knew he can't really catch him because he left his emotions stay in his way...

Yeah... Maybe they intended to kill L just to add a surprising twist to the series, thinking that a tragic character is more interesting than a happy ending. Nobody expected that turnaround, that's for sure. I was truly surprized when L died because he was a brilliant opponent for Kira. I still think he's better than Near.

Yeah... Or maybe they had the intention to kill L from the beginning of the series.. Who knows?... But I do feel like you're right. Besides, L made the entire anime, without him I lost my interest in watching the rest of the series..

There's only one connection of Near. He's another child who was raised in the same orphanage as L. When Ryuzaki was only an eight years old child, Watari was impressed by his detectiv talent. That's why W decided to teach other children from the orphanage in an attempt to create a successor for L.

Yeah, you're right about Near. I love L because I could feel his lonliness and that he wished to have friends. That's what makes him seem so real and human. In "L change the world" there are more details about L's past. Unfortunately, without L the series lost his best character.
However it's one of my fav animes too. It's a great example of how to use a simple idea such as writing in a notebook and make it epic. I would re-watch the first 25 episodes, they were very enjoyable. "Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases" is the next novel I plan to read.

Yes I finished it a few days ago and now I read "L change the world" novel. ;) I enjoyed the first 24 episodes, the chase between L and Light was superb and L won my sympathy in such a subtle way that I can't mention the moment when I started to care about him so deeply. He's the only character I loved in this series. He really made me feel like I lost an old friend...
During the last 13 eps I felt so borred and I missed L so badly all the time.. The ending was better in the manga but I still think it should have been L agains Light. L deserved that!

Thank you, FullmetalMister for not making spoilers! ;) Maybe this sounds creepy but I want to see that little bastard bleeding to death. But still, this can't bring L back to life... Without L, the rest of the series lost its enjoyment feeling.... :(

Omg, I'm crying like hell right now!! I just watched the episode when L dies and I was in complet shock! The only thing I could think of was "L!? NOOOOO!!! PLS NOOOO!! L, PLS!!! :((((((((((" I can't belive it, he was my fav character of this series.. :(((((((((((( Damn you, Light!!! The only reason for me to watch this from now on is hopping that Light will pay for what he did! :(((

Eutass (another user) recommended me to watch Hunter especially because I loved FMA:B. I can see you loved that anime very much too so it must be a good reason for that. Now I'm so excited to start watching it too!Thanks a lot for the recommendation. You're very kind ;)

Gosh, I'll definetely give a go to this show. Seems to be pretty amazing! :D I love animes with strong characters development and emotional moments.
