GENERAL - Note: I will not cover anything from the previous Fairy Tail run this will only focus on the (2014) series.

So 2014 starts right where the first run left off. At this point in the arc it starts to become more and more interesting and picks up its pace. Right from episode 1 of the 2014 run we already start to get a very interesting start to the later half of the arc and is where Fairy Tail starts to pick up.

Fairy Tail 2014 puts its focus on only a few arcs. This can be good although due to this it doesn't fee ...

Fairy Tail (Anime) add
GENERAL - Fairy Tail is one of the shounen that never really made it into the "big 3" due to it being made much later then the other shounen. However this does nto hinder the series but helps it in several ways.

In Fairy Tail we follow our main cast the guild of "Fairy Tail". We see there adventures and the different quests they choose to take as a guild. These quests are often done in set teams gorup within the guild and can range from simple quests to higher up quests for only some of the guilds best.

The arcs are formatted in a nice way. ...

GENERAL - Note: Since this is the first series I am making this review in the mindset that there is no (2011) version.

Hunter x Hunter is an interesting shounen. We follow our main lead Gon as he starts his journey to become a hunter. On his way is when we meet our other main characters Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika.

In this anime we go through several arcs ranging from the hunter exam arc to things such as a tournament arc. Hunter x Hunter is unique in the sense of how different its arcs are. In a way each arc covers its own genre. One arc ...

GENERAL - Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun takes the comedy shoujo genre in an interesting way. A lot of trends in this genre get switched around for this shows comedy.

In the story we follow Chiyo who ends up helping our other main lead Nozaki with his manga. Most of the shows comedy comes from the different situations in which Nozaki turns real life events into manga form and turns out in a reallly comedic way.

The episodes are usually divided into 2 segments not related to each other. This works to its benefit since it allows each section to focus on a certain group ...

Monster (Anime) add
GENERAL - Monster is easily one of the greatest psychological series ever created.

The arcs of Monster are set up in an interesting way there are many times where the main characters(s) don't appear in an episode at all. Instead the first 2-3 episodes of an arc are used to set up the supporting cast. At points like this it does sometiems feel slow as it may feel like no progression is being made in the story itself although it helps character development with dedicating these episodes to them. These episodes also will help to tie in with plot points later on in the arc.
