Hey, I'm just a weeb who enjoys a good seinen or tragedy.
Here is my current scaling system:
10/10 Very few series are expected to reach this rating; the level of enjoyment has to be at a consistent euphoric feel, with characters that resonate with me on a spiritual level and are developed in a proper manner. There exists a plot that enriches my mind and leaves me anticipating the next chapter/episode, and a satisfying resolution that connects with the narrative elements the author established throughout. There may be elements that are not perfect, however to me they will seem perfect.
9/10 These series stand outs among all the other series I have read, main themes resonate with me, protagonist and most, if not all, side characters are completely developed, extremely emotional moments.
8/10 Had some debilitating characteristics or aspect I didn't enjoy but overall still super impressive. Most of these are very memorable. The plot should be consistent with little to no holes.
7/10 Im definitely glad that I watched these but they don't stick out much in my mind as series that are as good as the ones that I've rated higher. Very solid anime that had a notable amount of flaws. An inconsistent plot that diminishes the overall experience may be notable in these series.
6/10 This is the score where the shows are split between stuff I'm glad I watched and stuff I wish I skipped out on. Although being sloppy, the plot is structured and allows for a fluid experience throughout the story. Still a net positive.
-Anything Below is Dropped/Unbearable
Keep in mind that the ratings of scaling may not always align with the level of enjoyment I have for that set series.
