Shakugan no Shana is about a boy named Sakai Yuji who makes an encounter with a Flame Haze who he calls Shana. Flame Haze are people who hunt down Guze no Tomogara (intruders from another world). They feed on people's existence which are called torches, but Yuji is a Mystes which is a special kind of torch.

In the future though it might be a better idea to look up the anime on MAL to get a synopsis, reviews, etc. so you can get an idea on whether you want to watch it or not.

basically has to do with a evil organization called the black ghost. The evil organization's goal is to start the next world war by supplying rich buyers with countless weapons of mass destruction. This is where the cyborgs come to play. Nine regular humans are kidnapped by the evil Black Ghost organization to undergo human experiments which resulted in nine cyborgs with each one having super human powers. The nine cyborgs band together to fight for their freedom and to stop Black Ghost.

Make sure to watch the third remake that was release in 2001. I can't stress that enough. :)
