Hope you are having a wonderful Monday!
Following up on my comment in your introduction thread, and after taking a look at your anime list, here are a few series that I suggest watching:
Ore Monogatari!! (My Love Story!!) - a very pure, innocent, light hearted romance comedy! A relationship between an intimidating, tall, "yakuza" looking school boy and a sweet, pure school girl. If you like cheering for the "least likely to get a girlfriend" character, this anime may suite your groove! Also, there is a cute side-pairing!
Sakamichi no Apollon (Kids on the Slope) - a romance, drama series that revolve around the upbeat tempo of jazz music! There is a lot of development that occurs between the character's relationships - some sweet, some bitter, some sad, and some disgraceful. But that is necessary for this story because it dives into the very essence of the characters and their desires. Overall I definitely love the soundtrack!
Fooly Cooly (FLCL) - this one is definitely unorthodox compared to other straightforward stories. The story involves aliens, weird interactions, and comedy - along with an overarching theme covering maturity. After watching FLCL, there is a very interesting essay on Reddit by Rfowl009 that I suggest checking out! And not to mention, FLCL 2 is coming out soon this 2018 year!!!
Kare Kano (His and Her Circumstances) - romance, slice-of-life story that involves two schoolmates that hate each other, competing to be top rank in class... but soon become friends and even more. I definitely enjoy how this series explores the psychology of the characters and its affects on their relationship. They both live a life of lies and journey together on finding out their true selves. On top of that, the relationship kicks off in the first few episodes! Just be prepared for the second half and the ending... (read the reviews here on MAL for more details/spoilers).
Nijiiro Days (Rainbow Days) - a school, romance, slice-of-life, drama series that revolve around the friendship of 4 high school boys as they go through school together. While the series focus on one of the four boys, each character is given enough screen time for character and relationship development! I will say, one of the key things with this anime: it is short episodes, and characters don't move too too far into their relationship, but they get to a fairly decent point by the end of the anime.
Shoya - Virgin Night - hentai, romance, OVA. Do not let the hentai genre throw you off. I will have to say that this story was extremely pure, mundane - thus, relatable to real life experience. The story is about a couple in a longtime relationship. They have kissed, oral sex, physical pleasure via contact... but they have not done sexual intercourse. The hentai's story telling pace is slow, focusing on visual movements and inner thought monologue; also the characters intentions are pure: there is no rape, forced sex, drunk sex, etc. Which, all-in-all, make this hentai romance/character focused, something unique in comparison to many other hentai.
Well, those are a few series that came to mind when I thought of anime based on romance, school, and slice-of-life genres. Let me know what you think about them, hope they can keep you entertained for a while!
