Where are the feelings? I mean it's a good movie. But Kimi no na wa is in my opinion better. Koe no katachi has no logic. Don't get me wrong - love for exmaple isn't logic, friendship as well. But what is wrong with the "system" if a girl is bullied? What is wrong with teachers? Why this guy didn't do a shit about that, tho he knew that it was Ishida, who was bullying her. WTF? We live in modern society and this kind of behavior is impossible. Destroying 12 hearing devices? Seriously? After destroying one device I would have problems in my school. It does cost a lot. School should take responsibility about that. Teachers as well.

Another thing is like someone said before - if someone is bullying you, You can try at least to avoid this person. To many errors in this movie imo.

It's not bad, but I don't know why it is compared to Kimi no na wa. It's completly different story and different motive.

I expected more. Even some romance. (some of you might think that romance would be bad). For me it's clearly that their in some powerful relationship and not just "normal" friendship. They don't need to fuck themself on the screen but I think there should be more romance between Nishimiya and Ishida.

For me it's 8/10. Im dissapointed. Really. I expected more.

Just let me help you explain why I have a different thought with you
First, yes as you said the teacher seems to pay no attention to the bullying and only took action after nishimiya's mom reported that the hearing aid had been forcibly removed from her daughter a few times. But I think this has something to do with Nishimiya acting out of kindness not reporting Shouyo to the teacher. It might sound I defend the teacher, but no, the teacher was also to blame here because he didn't monitor his students well and let the bullying happen, but something like this is possible in reality as well. and imo the teacher in the show feels like although he is strict to his students shown by him giving Shouyo a scolding, but he didn't listen to Shouyo that the others beside him also bullied her. People could be selfish and ignorant you know. Therefore this kind of behaviour is not impossible because I've seen it a few times. It happened to my friend in real life, they got buliied but the teacher seems to pay no attention to it only until the bullying got a bit too far.

Second, yes normal people will without no doubt avoid the bully, but that doesn't guarantee that it will happen. Yes it defies logic but like you said in the beginning of the post, logic can't explain everything. Nishimiya is too nice and she tries to reach out to Shouyo hoping maybe if they know each other better, Shouyo would not bully her anymore. and yes once again one of my friend who was bullied did the same thing. He tried to approach the bully a few times until he gave up because the bully didn't want to listen.

I agree with you that they are not just friends, but in the end the author chose not to pursue the romance side of the stories. Thanks for reading. I hope it would help you getting a different point of view
