Watching Myself:Yourself is akin to meeting an awesome girlfriend at college, who's brilliant and reliable and reliable and made your first year a blast. Then, when you finally decide to bite the bullet and pay for a Holiday for two to Australia, she doesn't show up the plane. The anime is utterly brilliant for the majority of the season, but completely falls flat on the final two episodes where audiences expect the most.
M:Y is a high school romance/drama/comedy, with a tinge of mystery. The main character (Sana) leaves his group of best buddied on a five year hike, a returns to find that the girl
...
he cared about the most has turned into a complete emo. Thus, Sana must unravel the heck has happened, lest he end up like stabbed to death in a fit of jealous rage like Makoto in School Days.
The strength of M:Y lies with its side characters. Sana's best mate and his twin sister, an adorable and crazy bookworm, and a 10 year girl who wants to prove she's an adult, and all characters noteworthy for how much they make you laugh.
The, unfortunately also becomes the show's major weakness, since the anime falters completely once these side characters are removed for the grand finale. The final two episodes had to supporting cast, and consequently became completely flat and lifeless.
Up to Episode 11, the show would get a 9, the two final episodes by themselves, deserve no more than a 6.
Is the show worth watching? Certainly. Just as long as you know that your reliable girlfriend is gonna flake, and don't bother expecting a grand finale of happy times in Australia.

Paris Chapter is a faithful sequel to the original Nodame Cantabile. If you loved the original, then this sequel comes highly recommended. If you haven't see the original, three's not too much sense starting with this. So the review will mostly deal with whether the sequel lives up to the quality of the original.
The first three episodes were genuinely excellent, filled with the quirky humor, hilarious characters, all mixed with a tinge of emotion... In short, it filled like watching a worthy sequel of the original... almost.
The one drawback is Paris chapter is that events appear rushed. Where's an important
...
concert competition Nodame Cantabile filled an arc of 2-3 episodes, such competitions are covered in a single chapter in Paris Chapter. This results in far less emotional build-up, and makes it difficult to appreciate the significance of these events. This is also reflected by the less spectacular music, given that there is no time to play a piece in full.
Alas, perhaps something like this can't be helped, given that Paris chapter has only 11 episodes, less than half of the original season.
Other than this gripe, most other aspects of Paris chapter are on par to that of the first season. While the water color designs were never my favorite, they do suit the show. Most the supporting characters in Season are new, save from Chiaki, Nodame, and that lewd German Milch. Fortunately the new characters introduced are just as memorable as the one's that they replaced. The OP theme, however, was a little lacking,
Overall, Paris Chapter is still an excellent show, but one can't help but feel that if the creators could have had 24 episodes to work with rather than 11, it'd would be a lot better.

Note: This review will be updated every 6 episodes:
The sequel to one of the most well known anime series Clannad maintains the high quality of animation, sound and dialogue of the original. In short, if you enjoyed the original Clannad, you will most definitely enjoy this sequel. While the execution of Clannad After story leaves little for complaint, it is somewhat hindered by the storyline' apparent lack o direction.
While the original Clannad featured a number of Arcs, it was tied together by an overarching plot of setting up the main protoganist with Nagisa. The main plot also had an effective metaphor wih respect to the
...
mysterious girl and her junk doll in the mystery world. In constrast, episodes in the After Story so far appear a little less cohesive. This is, for example, reflected by the rather weak episode, which seemed more appopraite as a filler, rather than the launch of a new series. This lack of an overarching plot makes after story seem rather aimless.
With that said, after story is still an excellent anime. The character animations are second to none, and the individual episodes are filled with both humour and moments tht grapple with your emotions. Even if the show does not seem to be heading anywhere, I still found it fund to watch.
Will After story be as great as its predecessor? That will be depend on how the series progresses. Even if it maintains it current status quo, it'll still be better than most animes out there.

Toradora is a highly entertaining romantic comedy that successfully escapes the cliched harem tales that dominate the genre. Although it is somewhat let down by mediocre animation and music, the original premise and unforgettable dialogue make Toradora one of the best light hearted romances of the season.
Story: 8
Toradora is based primarily on the interplay of Takasu and Taiga. A nice guy who has a fearsome reputation due to his aggressive looks, who makes an unlikely pact with a volatile, but cute girl, to help each other succeed with their respective crushes. This premise quite refreshing, and
...
unlike almost all anime within the genre, the male lead is not automatically the object of affection for half a dozen girls.
Unfortunately, the pace of the story is somewhat erratic. There are frequent episodes that seem more `slice of life', with no significant plot development. This, however, is not as bad is it seems, given that the events that do happy in each chapter are often hilarious, and well watching on their own.
Art: 7
Toradora art is not bad... not particularly good. It just does not stand out. While Taiga has a very attractive character design, some supporting characters do look rather bland. The background themselves are also serviceable, but not particularly noteworthy. There's nothing particularly wrong with Toradora's looks, its certainly comparable to that of for example, True Tears or School days. It just doesn't feature that extra level of excellence featured in Clannad or Tale of Memories.
Sound: 8
The voice acting for the characters are well done, and definitely fit their roles. However, the OP and ending themes are rather mediocre.
Characters: 10
Toradora's main strength is the personality of its cast. Rarely is there a character as unique as Aisaka and Takasu. Their personalities are not only memorable, but also multi-dimensional. While Aisaka, for example, comes across as an arrogant and demanding girl, there are rare moments where her more timid side is briefly shown.
Enjoyament: 10
Toradora is a great anime to watch, and perfect for lifting you from a foul mood. It's both funny and touching, which makes it great for short study or work breaks.
Overall: 9
Despite its technical flaws, Toradora is an excellent example of what a light hearted romantic comedy should be like. Despite its rather exaggerated circumstances, it features an original storyline where the cast are more than just cliches.
