I did find it interesting Mikoto has an overwhelming guilty vote, but I want to believe it's because people agree that both identities are working together. Haruka makes me conflicted still and I can't really decide if I would vote innocent or guilty, but I do see your point. Mikoto is the only character in MILGRAM that potentially schemed the murder in a malicious way, and I personally think that it's probably most likely since a lot of the tarot cards seem like they're part of a wild goose chase that DECO*27 set-up lol, and it would be super-fitting and an actually interesting portrayal of a murder that doesn't shine a negative light on DID, since any 2 people can work together.

Mu's MV is still my favorite and I still feel very sympathetic and empathetic towards her. I personally don't think her depression was the cause of her murdering her crush, but it was more of a bomb ready to explode, because some people, including myself would feel genuinely angry and Mu wasn't able to hold back probably cause she was done. Obviously not something you should do in real life, but a lot of situations can escalate to physical violence when it comes to a situation w/ bullying.

I still disagree we should guilty Amane, but I get the theory and I support the idea she can be helped, since that secondary voice in her MV is there, which makes me inclined to believe she can be helped.

Sorry for the late reply! I know it's over a month late but MeMe also came out recently so I finally found the motivation to type out a decent response. I was personally surprised since it was overwhelmingly voted innocent for Amane initially and then changed to guilty! I personally voted innocent because I believed it was beyond her control, but I guess the audience thinks otherwise? Some people think she does need to learn a lesson so maybe it'll be alright? It just depends what the 1st trial entails for everyone I suppose?

Speaking of MeMe, I got some mixed thoughts.

Each prisoner has a different story and I appreciate all of them. I'll be honest with my votes too. I voted everyone innocent except Haruka who I abstained for and Shidou who I guiltyed LOL. I feel bad for everyone except Shidou cause he kinda...did a serial mass murder eheh...

Don't worry about my bad experiences since I've learned to live forward y'know^^ I definitely notice the change in ratio for Amane, but she still has the most percentage of innocents out of any prisoner!! Ani/MILGRAM Twitter surprisingly has a big effect on the fans not gonna lie. Apparently, there's a lot of memes with Futa and baguettes LOL; ideky xd but Futa is the fan favorite!

Happy belated Milgram anniversary to you (baha my late reply made me late af sorry again) but I am hyped up for Nande as well! Tanjiro's seiyuu, Natsuki Hanae also plays the walrus, Odokawa from Odd Taxi which may be my anime of the season! I am loving this dude's voice even if I'm not a fan of the screaming lol but I'm sure it'll be great for MILGRAM and other anime as well :D

I have explored the family theory which is one I actually interpreted it as before, but I couldn't explain why there are 4 primary cult members and not just 2 parents. It could be a big family or community, but there wasn't enough symbolism for me to support the theory as much as the religious cult one. I think we both agree about the strict religious conditions placed on Amane though.

Yeah...poor Amane... was doing the right thing and she got punished for it. I would actually go as far as to say the 'accident' was planned by the pink band-aid ear religious individual. It appears they're some kind of priest that heals people and they needed a reason to 'heal' them. When Amane threw a wrench in their plans, she got abused so much. I also actually thought she accidentally killed the cat/person (I still don't know what they are) but I am more inclined to use the milgram.jp audio clip/lore hints indicating her use of a bat. I like the fact that you said it might be terminal illness. That actually is an awesome theory. It might explain how so many people were drawn into the cult to begin with. As someone who has dealt with those issues and knows others who have, I would love to learn more (I'm okay now don't worry)!

Ahh the shrine symbolism is also very good! This is why I like discussing this stuff with fans. In just 3-4 minutes, we get more analysis than 24 episode anime honestlyyyyyy!! The lyrics show her wanting to be a 'good girl' and she talks about wanting forgiveness and 'sorry spells' which means she went beyond her allowed 'powers'/human abilities. I really dig that idea!!

I can't wait for Mikoto's MV next! I don't know if you watch Demon Slayer, but Mikoto's singer played Tanjirou LOL; also he played characters in Gakuen Handsome and Makura no Danshi which had me dying lmaooo
