I wouldn't force yourself to watch anything. In a way, I envy the position you're in because it only happens once when you discover film. Eventually, for me I reached the point where I'd watched enough media that no single work is indispensably special to me, so I'd recommend savoring that time when Steins;Gate is the best thing in the world. Savor it, and then you can leave it and move on, like always. Life is long, no need to rush to the next best thing.

Oh, I almost forgot. Write down your thoughts, keep a film journal of stuff that you watched and *what* you liked (specific scenes) because otherwise you WILL forget. You can try introspecting *why* you liked things but you don't have to (definitely don't talk about why you *didn't* like things because that's just plain the wrong approach). That sort of introspection is really difficult and people always get that wrong when they try introspecting anyway because they think it's all about story and plot when the visual side of things is so important.

You want more like Steins;Gate? Read the visual novel Muv Luv and then read Muv Luv Alternative. It seems like you've liked VN-related materials the best so far (Clannad, Steins;Gate) and MLA is generally regarded as the pinnacle of VNs.
