I have been watching anime since 2012. My own personal ranking goes like this.
10-Thought provoking/ Beautiful structure/ and what makes an anime a 10 for me subjectively would be “Stirred my heart*
9- Same as ten but did not stir my heart,
8-Problems with plot/writing but lovable characters
7- same as an 8 but characters are inconsistent with their given personalities (This is not the same as growth/deteriorating of a character)
6-better than mid
5- MID – this has all of your basic tropes
4- better than 3 but still crap
3-autonomic if the series has problems with character development *cough cough* Akame ga Kill
2-it is a 1 but has slightly better writing or plot
1-hentai/Ecchi

Thanks for seeing me! I'm no Sheldon(big bang theory) when it comes to Anime, but gosh darn I will protect my 10s with all my heart.
