(wow sound's like we are really getting into these anime)

about angel beats.. hmm i would say that the place is already at peace. the world in itself because the residents aren't being forced to do anything.. which may create a problem in itself. Maybe that's what leads some characters to create a little bit of chaos. (but then again you can say that with earth, and humans create problems for other humans :/ )

& @ Durarara!! -> i guess it would make sense for mikado to show up as well, since it's setting up for the finale.

lol why not put how you would "rate" in your profile, im thinking of doing that, but its kinda wierd, cause i usually follow my own rating system, so like >7 i wouldn't mind watching, 8 would be along the lines of entertainment, ( i mostly give out 7-8's :P)

Just watched the recent episodes of Durarara!! and Angel Beats,

( if you didn't watch them yet don't read because it'll be spoiling everything so don't read until you've watched both :P)

About Angel Beats: wow didn't that episode feel like there were so many holes? well that and it felt rushed. Even though their side characters, they did a mass disappearance, in one of the most awkward moments. They could of at least stayed around for a bit more to resolve the shadow case, but then again its all up to the producer. even towards the end, who was that guy? i probably wasn't paying attention in the beginning ( it would be cool if it was one of the SSS members,t maybe it was and I didnt catch it). Also the "realization" (or whatever you would want to call it) wasn't very specific (well what did she realize? and you can probably make a good guess since there is one more episode left, but meh...)

( still spoiling, but for Durarara!! now )

well, i like how this episode turned out, it was well paced, but the thing that i find funny is why would they bring Mikado to the battlefiled? he can't really do anything, unless giving support accounts for anything (at least Kida isn't afraid of hurting people). I expected shizuo to live, mostly because the shots weren't fatal, ( leg and stomach.. really, would you expect him to die?) plus the fact that he strengthened his muscles from all those adrenaline moments. I guess we'll have to see what happens

hmm lets see... how about, personalizing the rating system, how you you rate it (What im trying to say is that, put it in your own words? like instead of 10 being a "masterpiece" and 1 being "unwatchable" what would be your description from 1-10?)

it's well written ( i don't think i could write one with that much thought... or it would take me a really long time )
the only clear con from this anime (from reading the review) would be the main characters ( in the beginning) but everything you say always leads up to a optimistic perspective, so im not sure how i should be reading it :P
well what im probably trying to say is that since you rated it a 8, i would like to know why you didnt rate it any higher/lower/why you chose 8 ( the review, while talking about some of the "defects" the character has, it actually leads to the progression & richness of the plot, optimistic POV?)

and about angel beats ~>

im susprised that in the war against the shadows, you believe that the SSS is going to surrender. I see that since there is two episodes left, that might be the the easy way out to complete the anime, but that would seem to be out of character, especially for Yuri's case.
Plus, the previous disappearances were due to their "true happiness," and that took the full episode to acheive, but in this case, having it rushed would give off a rushed, "fake happiness," and the effect wouldn't feel as great.
Believing that Otonashi will disappear after he helps his friends sounds like a pretty plausible advancement in the plot, I can't argue with you on that ;p ( since, again there is about 2 episodes left, otonashi and tachibana should both disappear, or the both of them would stay there forever so that they can help the "newcomers" find their true happiness)

but then again we have to wait for the episodes to be released so we can find out :)

( so hows your summer so far? (or are you writing exams still ;p))

you mean serious as in looking at the plot/characters/development/pace/relevance?
unless there are other things you can look at
as long as im kept entertained i don't mind,
unless there is a dramatic change that makes the anime looked rushed/out of character?
but as long as it flows im a happy camper :)
