I've stopped rating any art for the most part, but especially here. I don't think there's anything fundamentally wrong with it, in fact I think it can be done objectively given some parameters. Of course arguably that does or doesn't introduce subjectivity for selection of said parameters, but I won't get into it because it's complex axiology and I'm personally still thinking some of it through fully. But regardless, I think in practice a lot of the time it can be a sick business, even in the absence of bad intention. Not thoroughly, mind you, but a little poison over a long time and all that. At the end of the day, I love anime and I love art, so while some of this may be a little dense or come off as pretentious, it's just an explanation of why all of my ratings are blank, and honestly doesn't have much to do with the sentiments I hold.

For organizing purposes:
* In my list of favorites, I'll always show the first season of an anime to generally represent that anime.
* I also up the count for rewatches as I start them rather than after.
