yea just needed to point this out, the guy below me explained excatly why there isnt a reason why remina appeared, also the death of the many people in the manga i think is just the way of junji ito showing the struggles humanity will go through just to survive

Hi I just read your review on Hellstar Remina and I think the reason nothing gets explained is that the subject matter is cosmic horror. Cosmic horror's trademark aspect is that it's so horrible simply because it's unexplainable. And I think the lack of explanation or causality for that matter adds to the story, and as a matter of fact, is central to the story's horror.

I also really enjoy "weird" anime and manga. There doesn't seem to be a large array of series like that, so I'm new to branching out into the strange and unique. Still, I'm glad to see there are other individuals here that share the same interests.
