Tamori wa Taru is a Japanese manga artist. He used to work under the name Wataru Tamori.

Tamori wa Taru started his career as an assistant working for Yuuichi Kumakura, known for the manga and anime series "Ou Dorobou JING" (King of Bandits Jing), and even made a brief and special cameo appearance in the 20th chapter of the manga. Later, during the serialization of "Robot Poncots", Hideaki Fujii became his assistant.

After serializing the oneshot "Gump the Stone" (ガンプ ザ ストーン) in the special summer issue of Comic Bombom magazine in 1995, Tamori wa Taru was invited to draw the manga adaptation of the "Robot Poncots" video game franchise. The Robot Poncots manga was serialized for a long time and became another hit among the main magazine's readers.

After finishing "Robot Poncots 2" and during the serialization of "Robot Poncots GO!", Tamori also worked on the short manga adaptation of "Mugen Senki Potoris" (Tank Knight Fortress), and after that had no public activity for a while due to the Comic BomBom magazine shutdown, but was invited by his fans of the manga version of Robot Poncots to make some artistic contributions with his female characters to doujinshi works.

He returned to work as a manga artist in 2008 after being invited to promote the Nintendo Wii game "Kaze no Klonoa: Door to Phantomile" with a short two-chapter oneshot. Since then, Tamori has been working as an illustrator in addition to creating short comics with his busty female characters.

Influenced by the early style of his master Yuuichi Kumakura, he often uses unique deformations and English-style onomatopoeia. His original design for the Robot Poncots and Mugen Senki Portriss has his own unique twist on the mechanical design.

His most famous feature is that the all his female characters has huge breasts and suggestive clothing. In Gump the Stone and the early chapters of Robot Poncots, the female characters were portrayed with relatively normal body types, but as the Robot Poncots manga series progressed, their breasts began to grow even more.

In 2012, after Kodansha started reprinting several series from Comic BomBom under the title "Revival BomBom", Tamori wa Taru started to meet with all of the magazine's biggest authors and editors, contributing with new content and illustrations for the shinsoban editions of Robot Poncots. In the winter of 2017, Tamori was rushed to the hospital due to a serious illness, but recovered in early spring of the same year.
