Bruno-René Huchez is a French distributor and producer.
He founded in 1981 the audiovisual management company IDDH which managed the distribution of Japanese anime and the co-production of American cartoons in France and Western Europe.

While his colleague Jacques Canestrier was interested in the video format, Bruno-René Huchez preferred to turn to derivative rights (notably Goldorak and Albator toys) around Toei Animation series in the 80s. The decade on the French screens is thus abundant of Japanese anime in France, filling the airtime of youth programs such as "RécréA2", "la Cinq" or "Amuse 3": we find "Lupin III", "Cat's Eye", "Captain Future", "San Ku Kaï" or "Dirty Pair" in particular.

In the 90's, IDDH expanded its activity by participating in the co-production of American cartoons: "Denver, the Last Dinosaur", "Phantom 2040", "Back to the Future: The Animated Series" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".
Besides that, Bruno-René Huchez decided to produce his own animation studio in Angoulême; the French cartoons "Clémentine", "Moi Renart", "Molierissimo" or "Michel Strogoff" are particularly noteworthy.

However, the IDDH company filed for bankruptcy in 1999 following the bankruptcy of "la Cinq" in 1992.
Bruno-René Huchez worked the following years for the audiovisual company of his son Alexandre and wrote scripts.
