Getter Robo Armageddon really took a dip in quality after episode 3, it was even supposed to be longer and far more complex than what it became in the end, still I enjoyed it but I prefer Shin Getter from 2004.

I like this guy, he had a real knack for bringing Yokoyama Mitsuteru's works to life. Both Giant Robo the Animation and the 2004 Tetsujin-28-gou adaptations are great stuff. I haven't even watched Shin Mazinger or Gundam G yet but certainly looking forward to it.

Someone on 4chan.org/m/ once said this:
