Look, I personally vastly prefer the KareKano anime to the manga. But I also didn't shop around a pilot chapter to potentially dozens of magazines, work around the clock to make deadlines, etc. I think it's perfectly fair to be upset that someone else made changes to your work no matter if it's an improvement. Anno has had chance after chance to make original and amazing anime, in my opinion greatly succeeded, and when he signed up for an adaptation he should have known that mangaka don't usually take kindly to vast tone shifts in adaptation.

That said, the KareKano anime is one of the best incomplete adaptations ever.

Só de ter batido de frente com o Anno já merece respeito, brava apenas.

@oshecy kare kano is one of the best shoujo manga ever written. Anno was pretentious as hell trying to make a great shoujo manga evangelion like (which was retarded) then was surprised the mangaka didnt liked it. Gainax fags stay mad.

for all people who are saying she's a shitty mangaka and that anno is the one who made karekano great plz try reading the manga before talking shit about her, i'm currently reading the manga and i can tell that their is almost no difference in the content in both the anime and the manga, sure was more enjoyable because it has anno's immersive atmosphere and great music which made it a better experience. i think the main reason why anno stopped directing karekano is because of TV tokyo's restrictions on what should he use in the anime production

Why many people disagree with her is because she stood up for her own story(be it going in a good direction or bad), an act the people dissing her probably never did <standing up>....
Just so you know many manga which got adaptations and were improvised by the anime staff ....most of them are criticized online now

@Nemesis16 how can you defend that piece of shit mangaka? Im not even a gainaxfag, but they turned such an average shoujo into something really good, and that retard dared to stopped Anno´s creativity on the matter. Authors should just shut the hell up and say "thank you" everytime someone turn their mediocrities into quality stuff.

I can't hate Tsuda neither Anno because they did Karekano as they wanted. But, It's a fact that Karekano could've been even more great if GAINAX had continued the adaptation.
What if Tsuda had never stopped the anime production? Who knows...
Sadly, we never be able to see it.
The manga was great at least.

Very sad that the two creators could't reach a mutual understanding. Anno and his fans didn't deserve that but if she was that upset than I guess there's nothing you can do.
