SSY was something out of this world, cannot even describe it.

Shinsekai yori anime adaption was pure gold in my book, probably doesn't work as a manga form and its to bad about his other work not gaining popularity.

Shinsekai Yori is fucking garbage. Most cliché trash ever lmao.

Shinsekai Yori is god awful but I love Aku no Kyouten. A real hit or miss writer for me.

I'm fanatic about Shinsekai Yori. Maybe i'll read his other works too. I'm pursuing everything related to Shinsekai Yori, the other day even found an article titled "Watashi-tachi wa ningen da!”:
A Corpus-Assisted Analysis of a Non-Human Character in the anime Series ‘From the New World’". Now i'm reading it. Favorited this author, i hope that his other works are good too.

I demand to know why Novel version is not listed here? I mean that's where all the greatness come from. As for manga, it's fanservice or more like doujinshi, i.e. soft porn for those who just don't like the depth of the original story.

Several people complain about how unrelatably "boring" the characters in the anime version of Shinsekai Yori are. The usual response towards these kinds of things is : Read the manga!
Indeed - I'm sure the characters in the manga version have everything it takes to... excite a little bit more.

The novel must have disappeared out of shame for its two awkward offsprings, if you think about it.
