This band is basically the result of going a little bit off Choro Club's overly complicated pieces into more simplicistic and European-style music. And I enjoyed it hell of a lot.
Most of pieces from Trilogia, Choro Club's last album, were not the kind of music I enjoy - they were more like piles and piles of improvised notes. I understand this is pretty much Brazilian way, but this is the way I don't like in Brazilian music - over-the-top complexity.
On the contrary, this band play its music mellow and even cute. It's a pity they don't have Akioka Oh's heart-wrenching bandolim, but they also do not have this tendency for over-complicated songs. They are easy to listen and to remember, and most of them have a very positive mood.

Overall, this is a great band, and if they would have a bandolim and a contrabass, like Choro Club's Sawada George had - they could be the best band in the world.
But I cannot understand what genre of music do they play. They stick to classical, choro, jazz, mixing them into some unique style. May I call them easy listening, pretty please?
