a beautiful romance story with a ton of depth. there's so much going on in both of the characters lives and their backstories are so well fleshed out, and it all comes together in such a delightful and poignant package. it's a bit of a slow burn, but it's well worth the time to get to know these characters and watch their lives unfold, both into the future and the past.

the focus feels a little split between the romance and the music plot, and the final act felt kind of rushed, but a very enthralling read

this manga has a pretty silly gimmick, and because of that it was hard to take it seriously at first. but after i got through the first few chapters, i realized how grounded and yet still fun this is. no melodrama, no hamfisted plot devices, just two happy people who love each other, navigating the type of communication issues that any couple could expect to see. and i know that makes it sound pretty boring, but it was all just so well done that it felt deeply personal and satisfying to see them live their lives like this. a decently wide cast of loveable characters, great art and design, and excellent writing. and it goes on for 11 volumes, which is an incredible length for the quality here.

this was a sad, deeply engaging story. it gets a little weird at times, but i think it's worth sticking through to the end. the art is evocative and the plot flows smoothly, with plenty of cliffhangers to keep you reading. this is one of those stories where, when you finish, you have to keep thinking about it in order to process it properly, which i love in a story. my only issue is that the denouement was pretty lacking, and while i wasn't expecting a full explanation, i was hoping to see more "post-story" character interactions to see how it actually resolved itself in the end

it's a laser-focused story on some pretty subtle characters. fairly short, but what we do see is emotional and deep. satisfying and cute ending when taking into account the extra chapter. the art style is kind of old school feeling, which helped it stand out. definitely wish there was more!

a flowery, beautiful romance story between childhood friends as they fully realize their love for each other as adults. this is labeled as erotica due to a lot of sex scenes, but they are rather mild and more about the romance and intimacy of sex.

the set-up is a little unusual, this odd "contractual" relationship that borders on manipulation, but if you can get around that or see it as her clumsy/poorly thought-out way of getting close to the girl she likes, this is a very cute and cozy read. wish there was more though, especially with more character development and more scenes with setouchi, since it felt just so short.

funny set-up, plays with the premise well, and follows through with some while-they-are-dating story rather than just ending when they get together like some other manga. cute, but rather short

neat plot hook, ramps up the drama and romance well, and the resolution/final chapters are so sweet. it feels well planned out in advance, with no filler getting in the way. really makes you want to read more though, to learn about the supernatural aspects of the show more and to see the characters be together

this felt really special while i was reading it. while it's not technically "confirmed" yuri, as they don't get together during the chapters, they do find a peace with each other that truly exemplified what romantic love feels like. the art is gorgeous too, and the slice of life plot felt like the perfect amount of development every chapter, not too slow like the author was padding, but not too fast that it felt like we were really missing out on enjoying their lives with them. i say this about a lot of manga, but i so deeply wish we had 2 more volumes of this.

there was a lot of depth here for such a short story, and i felt like it could've been explored much longer without getting tired. cute characters and art, the grumpy OL is great.

an incredible journey of growth from the point of view of a woman in an abusive relationship and a woman who never stopped loving her, 10 years after high school. the characters are flawed but it's so easy to empathize with them and their mistakes due to the quality of the writing and how the plot goes. a must-read for yuri fans imo

one of those romance stories where the two basically seemed obsessed with each other before they really met. yamada is adorable and kase is very cool, and they each come with their own hobbies and flaws which makes them feel distinct and come together in cute ways. my biggest complaint is how the characters can feel a little one-note and a little codependent. continued by yamada to kase-san too, so there's more to read about these two!

this was good, but it felt a little too much like the author just wanted the characters to suffer for trying to follow their dream. i applaud its commitment to reality, the crushing weight of capitalism and all that, but it didn't really come to a satisfying conclusion. the ending just kind of fixes the problem, and while it's not the happiest, most fairy-tale ending, it does seem like "oh, all the suffering didn't really do much other than teach them to get back to the grind, huh"

very cute. very slow burn and very much a "please just tell each other!!!" story but it was enjoyable for sure, especially as a story about the male mc coming into his own with a friend group and all that. as usual, the mom was my favorite character lol

super duper cute and wholesome autobiography. fairly quick read, and by the same author as "if we leave on the dot," which i gave a 10 for. cute designs and very relatable, i love it

cute story and characters, but not super engaging/compelling in the latter half. after they got together it felt like the story just coasted even though we had almost half the chapters left to read. normally i would be happy with a couple being happy together, but it was just pure fluff in a not very interesting way, like these were all side stories after the ending. up to that point, it was like a 9/10

very cute story, lot of heartfelt moments, good subplot with the younger sister. fantastic art/design. characters felt a little unexplored for my tastes, i wish we got to see more of their interests. conflict is pretty minimal, but that's what people want sometimes. would absolutely love to see the long distance relationship in action, as that would provide a lot of conflict to work through.

this was fine. the model seemed very... one dimensional. i like the manager, and the dynamic was cute, but it was kind of too flat as a story. i like a manga that doesn't do too much as much as the next gal, but this just didn't have much else either. it was fairly short so maybe if the story was longer, it would have had more time to breathe?

a relatively short but sweet "finding what it means to love" yuri story. has a neat, supernatural hook to complicate things. well drawn and the use of color was lovely. the subplot of the "romance counseling" thing was odd and it didn't feel justified, and the student council president seemed like she had more going on in the background that i would've liked to see but oh well. also has some polyuri representation!

this is ultimately a story about hope, about keeping yourself going even when things aren't going your way. i found a lot of her internal monologue very relatable, especially when she was convincing herself that things were worse than they actually were. the ending was cute, and i liked the art too. if i read this years ago during my bad years, it might've had an even stronger effect on me, but nowadays it's more of a nostalgic feeling, wishing i could tell my old self the same lessons izumi learns through the story.

a short love story about a woman in a failing marriage and her younger coworker. the older one's husband was cheating on her, so she ended up cheating on him too with younger girl, under the guise of "it's not real because we're both women." but she overcomes her anxieties and precognitions about being with a woman and leaving her status quo relationship in order to be truly happy. good art and writing for sure, my main gripe is that it felt too short/rushed. it just felt like it skipped a lot of the action in the final chapter or two in order to get it out the door, rather than let the pacing continue and finish the story properly.

cute story for sure. interesting problems to have, too, things that i haven't really thought about. unfortunately the couple broke up in real life and likely didn't have a successful conception :(

this is cute, but it kind of meandered a bit and was unfocused, and very very rushed at the end (we basically got 2 pages of them being "together"). the ages were also kind of confusing/made it feel a lil awkward to read

this is like a diary of an anxious late bloomer who's truly struggling in life, which felt entirely too relatable to me. the art is beautifully messy and expressive, and the story and writing are engaging and deeply moving. this is something that has the potential to really stay with you, as if you've lived this experience yourself and are able to learn and grow from it as she did.

this was a cute little read! i liked the dynamic of horny, outgoing girl and reserved, inexperienced girl, both flawed in their own ways which felt human. and i liked the character designs a lot--they weren't super flashy or anything but just clean and pretty! this didn't wow me or anything and the drama felt a little contrived/rushed so it isn't perfect by any means, but it's definitely solid!

an interesting story where neither character feels like the focus--both are given a surprising amount of growth in such a short span. i really resonated with shimizu and her feelings of denial and closetedness, even deeper into her relationship with maekawa. some of the early-mid chapters feel weirdly paced and hard to follow, but i think it's still good.

a beautiful story about the awkwardness and insecurity of being a late bloomer lesbian, finding your first real love well into your working years. the art and character design is so perfect to me. in some ways, it is fairly slow, but it's more about taking their time to learn each other and become comfortable with all the tough parts of opening yourself up to be loved. it's very wholesome, innocent, and very fluffy too, so be prepared

pretty cute story about two work-from-home people who live next door and find common ground. it's short but sweet. the male mc is a little incel-y, not troublingly so though.

this was a pretty fun read, where the chapters are "out of order," like haruhi or pulp fiction, but are placed intentionally to reveal things in a certain way. the presentation from the 0th chapter gave me the impression that this was going to be more about all four members of the friend group, but the story really focused on two of them, which is fine. it was very cute and the ordering added a lot of depth to the story as it unfolded, which i liked. the character designs are really cute, but i had to keep a tab open to refer to their names/designs sometimes, especially with some similar nicknames between characters (shii and shou) and different nicknames for the same character (kano and noko), in addition to the fact that in japan people use both first and last names to refer to people

idk if there's actually 3 more chapters or not. cute and charming story for sure, a lot of character development. felt like we only saw a small slice of their story, so i wish there was a lot more.
