Both of manga main character is kinda like a special agent. Keaton is expertise in special insurance investigator and has a lot of special skill. Ikaruga is an special agent that has only one skill, riding all kinds of transportation machine just in one click. 

Do you enjoy reading about people who solve diffucult cases. Do you like main characters that are very smart and get into a lot of dangerous situations? If the answer was yes, you should read both of these manga. Although the backstory of both characters is different, they both share their love for solving cases and they are probably the best at it! Both stories make you wish you were as smart as their maincharacters.  

Both series are written by the same author. Due to this the art (very well done in my opinion) looks alike in both series. If you like the way Naoki Urasawa tells a story and you like the general atmosphere of his stories than you should really read Monster. In my opinion Monster is by far his best work. It is the most deep and well written story I ever read. Of you like one of the main characters I am pretty sure you will like the other one too. If you haven't already you should give both series a try!
