The one shot included in this manga, which is, Kyuukyoku Kareshi ni Yamitsuki Kanojo, is similar to Gokusen because it both involves a gang or mafia person who is the heir or has the mafia blood in them. Incidentally, they both fall in love with a person but tries to keep their family a secret.

Both of the main females are countryside chicks

Ojousama no Himitsu like Toyko Kareshi have cute similar-looking countryside protagonists that deal with 'everyday' high school happenings: boys and Japanese country accents.

I believe that even though Ojousama no Himitsu is more fast pace and Kimi ni Todoke is more slice of life, they're both about learning how to make friends, and out of making friends, they learn about loving someone. It can be hard to make friends if you worry about the aura that you present to people and that they might not accept you for who you really might be. I think Kimi ni Todoke is nice and drawn out, Ojousama no Himitsu will give you a feeling of a quickfix.
