Fourteen-year-old Tamaki Kawamura is in love with her classmate Kamitani. But as the class representative, she finds it difficult to confess to him due to his reputation as a delinquent. After being told by her homeroom teacher to give Kamitani his career planning form, Tamaki decides to go to his house. This ordinary encounter unexpectedly results in an intimate exchange between the two. While the difference in their status may prove to be a hindrance to their relationship, Tamaki is unwilling to let that sway her heart.

Mahiru ni Kakedasu (真昼に翔けだす); Summer 2006
Because of her seemingly unapproachable demeanor, all the students in Chisho Itokawa's class remain wary around her. Unbeknownst to everyone, Chisho goes to the school's broadcast room to sing and play the guitar shortly after classes end. One day, she is caught by her homeroom teacher, Masaai Mukai, who encourages her to continue performing in front of him. Chisho is troubled when Masaai broadcasts her performance without her knowledge, but hearing others praise her music instills confidence in her, motivating her to take a step forward.

Watakushi-sama (ワタクシサマ); Summer 2007
Manami Horikawa is liked by nearly everyone around her for being friendly and cheerful. Gratified by her popularity, Manami always maintains this personality in front of others. When the whimsical Yuuri Imai transfers into her class, Manami naturally tries to befriend the girl, but Yuuri bluntly declines, citing that she does not truly want to be friends with her. Despite Yuuri's unusual persona, as Manami continues to interact with her, it does not take long before the two connect with each other, and Manami realizes she might have found her first true friend.

Since that encounter, Oto has gradually developed romantic feelings for Saitou. Unfortunately, while he shares the same sentiment as her, Saitou believes she is in love with Arioka—his best friend and fellow basketball player. Oblivious to the misunderstanding, Oto has yet to gather the courage to confess her love, but a situation soon arises that gives them an opportunity to confront their feelings.
