Both series are based on popular gaming series focusing on a ya cast with a lot of action and similar storytelling. 

both are based off popular Nintendo IPS and also are easily able to be finished in one day. 

The saiyans and chozo are similar enough, along with the Freeza force and Space Pirates. They tell rather different beasts of stories but considering how there is a focus of what the future may be I'm sure only may like the other.

Both being based around notable video game series, as well as also having a broody atmosphere,story and also lots of messed up looking creature designs as well too. 

both are sci fi stories with a tough female bounty hunter lead in it.

both are broody af dark themed sci fi stories with lots of action in it. 

Kind of a stretch, but both have that broody dark feel to them as well as quite a bit of suspense and a mc that has their edge to them as well too and lots of messed up looking creatures as well.
