I was impressed by this manga contrary to my expectations - I thought it was just going to be another typical shoujo story, and in a lot of ways, it is pretty cliched - older guy with young innocent ward, tension and comedy ensues... But I actually rather enjoyed this manga. I found a level of depth in the characters and an interesting enough plot that kept me reading avidly until the end. I wish it were longer!

The art is really lovely. All her characters were designed thoroughly and attractively, and the backgrounds and big scenes were detailed without being distracting. Very nice to look ... at, and it helped the story move along as well.

What really sets this manga apart is the characters. Unlike most shoujo stories of this length, the main characters have distinct personalities and pasts. There are really only three main characters, not a huge cast, but the those three are plenty enough to keep you interested. Mikuni is sweet and little naive in her love for the mysterious, gorgeous, and popular Chiho.Their relationship is kind of unrealistic and sudden, but cute; Chiho obviously cares about her. And for a while, Mikuni's very happy with him, and it's a sweet relationship between classmates... until Nishizono comes in and complicates things as Mikuni's guardian.

The relationships between these three are really well developed and expressed. I was impressed by how much character development and realism the mangaka managed to fit into so few chapters. Nishizono's character gets unique and special attention that I really appreciated.

Overall, a short shoujo read, but a very good one nonetheless!

Otona pink was your usual drama/shoujo/romance manga and there wasent anything special about it. The story was average and there are many like it. The art was good but not great. The characters were like most romance characters Stupid and immature at first but they grow up through the manga. There was alot more drama than romance but thats ok and the romance wasent very heavy. Though the manga is under mature i dont think it really is, They dont show anything. Overall it was probly worth 6/10 Thanks and hope you enjoy Otona Pink!

Honestly I've never written a review for any manga, but given how BAD this one was, i felt the need to do so.

First of all, Mikuni has to be one of the worst heroines I've ever seen. In the first chapters, she starts dating Chiho, the boy she always loved. Things with Chiho seemed rushed, but well, they're teenagers right? Nishizono (their homeroom teacher) after seeing them all lovey-dovey, tells Mikuni they won't last more than 3 months. Up until this point, the story was pretty credible.

Afterwards, it all goes downhill. The same day Mikuni starts dating Chiho, her biologist mom tells Mikuni she ... transferred jobs to the South Pole (lol) and that a guardian will come take care of her. Well, you guessed that right. The "guardian" her mom finds appropiate is no other than Mikuni's HOMEROOM TEACHER.

As the story goes on, Nishizono harasses Mikuni both verbally and physically (he actually licks her, wtf?) and yet Mikuni does nothing except blush about it. So, in the end Chiho dumps her after realizing Mikuni has fallen in love with Nishizono. Not gonna lie, I laughed. This manga will have you feeling second-hand embarassment a lot, so you either suffer or you laugh your way out of it.

Nishizono proves himself to be one of the most unbearable male leads ever created. Bluntly, he's childish, a harasser and overall arrogant. He actually disappears after using Mikuni for sexual consolation, and he himself actually admits that "anyone would do". (Yup, you read that right). Then he comes back and acts like his traumas are healed, and confesses to Mikuni. In the end, you end up feeling sympathy for Chiho, which seems to be the only relatable and not-so-idiotic character.

I will not inquire into the absurdity of all these scenes because of how abhorrent they are. The manga felt like it was trying to force the readers to feel some kind of way about the characters, but we simply couldn't relate due to how undeveloped the characters were.

The story was so rushed, it felt like they were trying to fit into 12 chapters something they intended to be longer. Overall, just bad. Very bad. The side story was more enjoyable than the story itself.

As a shoujo manga lover, I already expected clichés and some unrealistic scenes. However, Otona Pink was by far the most dreadfully unrealistic manga I've ever read. In my opinion, the only good thing in this manga is the art, but it may not be for everyone.
