Manga: Igyoujin Oniwakamaru
The most obvious similarity between these two is that the enemies are demons that based on the japanese superstition. You will find a lot of youkai in both series.

Manga: Arms
The main plot of the manga is almost the same but that doesn't mean it is not good. Both of these manga is about a group of four fighting against the big boss. The major difference is Project ARMS is a sci-fi story meanwhile Otogi Matsuri is a supernatural story. I can go on and on but one thing for sure, both manga are worth your time.

Group of people get special powers in order to fight aliens/demons. All characters have their own more or less tragic backstories. Both titles have lots of blood, gore and deaths. Gantz is little more mature
