In both manga the main character is a loser that becomes stronger and funnier with every fight.

Manga: Ningen Kyouki Katsuo!
The art is about 95% similar, even the main character looks the same, basically it's about a weak guy who learns how to fight and keeps winning, the only difference is that Katsuo is about street fighting and Noritaka is about martial arts.

Manga: Angel Densetsu
1990's old manga dealing with delinquents, allot of fighting and comedy. Both have very unique male leads who slowly change the initial opinions of the people around them from negative to positive. even turn enemies to believers, earn respect and become somewhat heroes some of the people around them while also unintentionally forming a posse (gang,clan, group of friends or w/e you wanna call it ).. Stunning female leads who imo look alike, the art is also similar, there is some romance here and there, easily the best part of this mangas is the colorful and hilarious cast, main and supporting characters. Both highly recommended if  read more
