Both series have a stubborn blonde haired Japanese kid that fights many strong guys while having a connection to the criminal underworld. They also have great art with an admirable main character. While Tough's main character joins the criminal underworld to grow stronger and save his father, the protagonist of Sun-Ken Rock joins a gang because of his desire to protect those around him.

Both bring the style of fighting into a new view. If you loved the fighting style and tecniques from tough All rounder Meguru will show you a new one. Just as fun and captivating.

There both martial arts manga that involve secret underground tournaments. In tough Kiichi is becoming stronger so he can defeat his evil uncle who believes only the strong deserve to live, Baki on the other hand is becoming stronger so that he can defeat his evil father who believes only the strong should survive. Besides lots of similarities in the story the artwork is also very similar and if you liked one I would recommend the other.

Both of them are martial arts manga that revolve around insane fights that push the boundaries of human nature. In Tough Kiichi is fighting to become strong enough to defeat his uncle, in Garouden Bunshichi is more interested in proving his strength to himself. Both have a fairly similar story and the art is pretty similar as well so if you liked one you will like the other.
